@Lucas88 I can't do that qi thing lol but my experience with sex is exactly the same as yours. I've been watching porn for about a decade now and I've never felt the need to escalate to weirder shit like a lot of people describe. Its like you describe as well, I get turned on just from cuddling, making out, stroking my girlfriend's hair, stuff like that. The only "adventurous" thing you could say about my sexual preferences is that I really like doing sexual things in watery settings. My girlfriend and I once made out and masturbated one another in a hot tub for hours and it was the best sex of my entire life.

Let me answer your question about the respective libidos of each nation with some information about South Korea. In South Korea, about 40% of the men claimed to have had no sex last year. A similar percentage of women said the same thing. Now here's where things get weird. If you go back just 20 years ago. Only 10% of men and women in South Korea claimed no sex last year. We have seen the same trend occur in the United States where sexless men went from 10% of the population to approximately 30%. Universities in the UK have reached outrageous levels with 66% of the men there reporting no sex last year and 50% of women claiming the same. People's relative libidos seem to suffering all across the globe but only in Northern countries with highly advanced economies... In South American countries, African countries, and South and South-east Asian countries like Thailand, India, and the Philippines, there doesn't appear to be any decrease in people's libidos compared to the past. What do all the countries suffering from reduced libidos have in common and what do all the countries with stable libidos have in common?

Its the sun... https://www.earth.com/news/exposure-to- ... es-libido/

From what I've read, sunlight's effect on your libido is no less then 50% but could even double the intensity of your sex drive. A lot of highly advanced economies nowadays have problems with large portions of their population shutting themselves indoors all day every day. Never in the history of humanity have we had large portions of the population shutting themselves indoors all day like we do now. Sunlight's effect on your sex drive is even more significant for women because a lack of sunlight can actually make sex painful for women...

https://misters.in/en/blog/exposure-to- ... drive/amp/

Now you know why tropical locations, whether its South America or South-East Asia, all seem to have a sexy vibe to them.

The UK already receives some of the least amount of sunlight in the entire continent of Europe. Even Sweden seems to get more sunlight. Even Russia shockingly enough seems to get more sun. If you have a country who's citizens already desperately need sunlight then having an advanced economy that enables people to easily stay indoors all the time is going to be especially disastrous for their libidos.

Image

Now think about why people's libidos all across the developed world seem to be shrinking at a frightening rate. Why is it that just 20 years ago they seemed normal and now you've got 20 year old guys who's sex drives resemble that of a 60 year old's? Again, twenty years ago, even in the developed world, people went outside. There wasn't nearly as much to do inside as there is now. Video games weren't as good or popular as they are now, the internet was slow and not entirely mainstream yet, and most people didn't want to just watch movies and TV all day. Plus the old fashioned wisdom that staying indoors all day wasn't healthy for you was still common.

As for why the Floridian sex drive is so high. For one thing, Florida is one of the sunniest states in America. The second thing though is that Floridian culture strongly encourages people to go out to the point where its actually kind of annoying . Everywhere you go in Florida is completely choke full of people. You don't see anything like it in Virginia. You could set up a bar in Virginia, and at 3:00 in the afternoon on a Sunday you'd probably find 5 people in the bar. In Florida, on the same day at the same time, you're more likely to see about fifty people in the bar. Some of it is because the population density is higher but another big part of it is that Virginians are way more introverted then Floridians. Florida is extremely extroverted.

For me, this information doesn't make Florida anymore attractive despite the knowledge that they have higher libidos because typical Floridians have no ability to control it whatsoever. This creates an absolute madhouse down there. I have a very high sex drive but I still seem more capable of self control then virtually everybody in Florida is. That is why Thailand and the Philippines appeal to me more. Thai and Filipina girls have a reputation for higher sex drives but their Asian side prevents them from going completely wild like Floridians do. I suspect I'll find a girl who's more like my ex-girlfriend. Very high sex drive as well as monogamous and loyal.

Thanks for your detailed reply, @Outcast9428

The expansion of qi in the moment of orgasm is best achieved through a particular breathing technique which resembles the Yogic fire breath as you approach climax. It's as though you just follow the natural rhythm of breath as you begin to breath more heavily while focusing your attention upon the buildup of energy in the lower abdomen. I've always had intense orgasms but noticed that they started to become even more powerful once I began to train martial arts more seriously and practice meditation. Martial arts training serves to stretch and open the body's meridians and thereby allows for a better flow of qi and meditation and practices such as Tai Qi cultivate the qi energy and make it more abundant. This results in greater libido. My Peruvian girlfriend didn't do any of that stuff nor did she even know about it. I suppose that she just instinctively followed the right rhythm of breath in the moment of orgasm and then caused a significant stimulation of the qi energy without knowing what it was.

If you like hitting it off with your girlfriend in a watery setting you'd really love Japan's Onsen culture. There are Onsen hotels with rooms for couples where you can bathe in private and make love to your girlfriend in the heated water. :D

The lack of sunlight thing makes sense. Many people here in the UK are shut indoors for extended periods of time and even when they do go out they normally go to some tacky boozer and spend the evening getting drunk indoors and so they still don't get much sun anyway.

But what about the exceptions like me? I live in the same dark depressing sunless dystopia and I've always had a bestial sex drive. Is it simply that my body produces qi more easily than most people and that I am therefore better constituted on a physical and energetic level than other people here? My Chinese doctor who has been treating me with acupuncture for the last year tells me that my ability to produce qi is exceptional and that very few people can cultivate qi as easily as I can. He explained that most people require years of Tai Qi practice just to be able to feel the cultivation of a little extra qi but I was able to awaken in myself a huge quantity of qi with just a few days of practice. The quantity was so great that it put too much stress on several of my major meridians and messed up their flow, hence my need for acupuncture treatment  . Anyway, I even told my Chinese doctor about my voracious libido and he told me that it could be due to my body's abundant qi production. I think that I have a better energetic constitution than most British people.

Another thing that I notice about the people here is that many of them are uncomfortable with the topic of sex. It's like a social taboo which people find embarrassing to talk about and whenever the topic must be addressed it is often smoothed over with lame British humor in order to divert attention away from the feelings of embarrassment and so conversations about sex often lack frankness. Sex is just an awkward topic in British society even though everybody has sexual needs. I imagine that this same uncomfortableness surrounding sex will also contribute to many people's messed up relationship with sex. It may be that sex's taboo nature in the British collective consciousness has made it into something dirty for many thus divorcing them from regular healthy sexual relationships and subsequently creating a false association of sex with perversion. Obviously this would take place in conjunction with the common antisocial attitudes and avoidant attachment styles which we've already talked about in other threads.

Onsen hotels sound like a fantastic idea. I swear I really am spiritually Japanese

I might have to check out tai chi sometime. If it can help me give my future wife an insanely powerful orgasm then that’s something I’d really like to cultivate

The more you describe the UK the more it sounds like the college I went to. I used to always find it bizarre how my college is apparently one of the bigger party schools in the nation but people were simultaneously extremely scared to talk about sex. People barely even made jokes about it. I’ve never been in any environment before where bringing up the subject was considered such an uncomfortable thing to do. People would talk all day long about alcohol and getting drunk and the stupid things they’d done while drunk which might include a hookup but if you talked about sex more along the lines of what we’re doing things got awkward extremely quickly.

Funnily enough, my Middle Eastern friends didn’t have a problem with it at all and I could relax way more around them.

Even my current work environments don’t really stigmatize it. People joke about sex plenty at my work and sometimes it gets brought up in the context of our relationships. It’s obviously not like high school but it’s nowhere near as restrictive as college was.

Cool discussion on sexual libido theories and chi and sex stuff guys, LOL! Looking forward to getting into it more later but wanted to throw out a few things:

On chi gong:
@Oucast9428 (and anyone else interested in Qi) check out Shaolin Cosmos Qi Gong and the books by their grandmaster for some simple and safe exercises you can do regularly even without the benefit of learning from a chi gong master: I've had those books for decades but you could probably even find out how to do their basic exercises from videos.
I've heard other people say that after practicing simple exercises like those diligently and enjoying the experience with an open mind, they increasingly experienced chi flows and positive phenomena from practicing arts like this. (Those were many different types of nice people who said that, by the way, including women, seniors, etc, so it isn't only rather abnormal sexually voracious characters like me or @Lucas88 who can experience chi flows even without getting into the heavier stuff Lucas88 mentioned that can be dangerous, like some tantric stuff.)

I don't know about this yet but 靈氣 Reiki is pretty big in Japan, and I believe got quite a following in the West as well. (Cool kanji, huh?)
Some of the old ancient poetry about the mysteries and properties of Chi rhyme beautifully in Cantonese (which is more similar to the old middle Chinese spoken in classicals periods), and I should post some in my kanji and Chinese characters thread sometime... :)

On giving women orgasms:
Learn hypnotism! I think most women would love hypnotism for a lot of reasons even if it didn't have the potential to open gateways into her mind and amp up her orgasmic responses, but it does! ;)
Then you can also give your own girlfriend free hypnotherapy (well that's what I'd do, on the other hand if you're more enterprising than me than maybe you can get them to pay you for it too, LOL.)

Although we have a definite difference of personal opinion on the subject of monogamy, I also agree with Outcast9428 that having girlfriends (or at least "FWB" women you see a lot) is much better than casual 1-time lays or "hookups", because you can use any and all techniques that worked well on your girlfriend as a conditioning process that can potentially keep getting better, and also pretty much become a Phd expert on your girlfriend (or wife)'s body and how she responds to you.

P.S. Outcast9428 and Lucas88 obviously aren't averse to giving chicks orgasms, but if any of those members who've been drinking too much of the men's rights betas kool-aid pops up in here trying to say anything to do with success with women must be a "scam," notice how I just suggested you learn hypnotism (not from any particular living person's products, and there's no buy link in my post for me to make $$$ off it!). :D

Some women can't even persuade their own beta boyfriends or husbands to even read a single book about sex, and some of the men get surly and resentful if they even try to talk about it with the men to try to save their marriage, so you guys who actually put some effort into this and want to give women massive orgasms are valuable to the distressed female population of this world.
If you're serious about "taking the red pill," read thoroughly researched work by an unbiased "American intellectual soldier of our age" to learn what controlled media doesn't want you to see 8) : https://www.unz.com/page/american-pravda-series/

Just out of curiosity, @WilliamSmith, whereabouts do you feel the qi energy expand in the moment of orgasm and what unusual sensations do you feel?

I tend to feel the energy build up in the lower abdomen (the region which in TCM is known as the qihai and the lower dantian) and then the majority of the energy shoots up the front of the torso towards the upper chest region. I also feel the energy flare up around the perineum.

I asked my Chinese doctor which path does the qi take in the moment of orgasm. He told me that the qi ascends chiefly through the kidney meridian which travels from the southernmost part of the abdomen just above the tallywhacker all the way up to the upper pectoral region. My experiences with qi match what my Chinese doctor says. I seem to feel the energy most strongly in the kidney meridian. This is of importance to me because some online sources say that the qi in the moment of orgasm travels up the Ren Mai or conception vessel which runs up the center from the point just above the tallywhacker all the way to the face. But my Chinese doctor says that that information is erroneous and that there is a lot of misinformation on the internet pertaining to TCM.

Image

Reiki (the traditional kanji which you used for "ki" is way better than the both common modern Japanese one and the simplified Chinese one, btw) is now very popular in alternative circles. It is a form of healing in which it is supposed that qi is guided by the practitioner's hands in order to heal imbalances. Some people swear by it while others either don't rate it very highly or even say that it is a corrupted form of qi healing. While I personally don't like Reiki for the second reason and much prefer acupuncture as a form of treatment for imbalances and stagnant qi, I do have direct experience of energetic distance healing and know that it's 100% real. For me it was to alleviate the agony which I suffered in the first few months of my horrific botched Kundalini experience. I've only told you about the very surface of my experience. I might go into greater detail in a separate thread once I'm emotionally ready to do so (recalling the experience is still somewhat traumatic for me).

It would be really awesome if you could post some Cantonese poetry about the mysteries and properties of qi in your kanji/hanzi thread. I can read some Chinese and make out the meaning of basic sentences thanks to my knowledge of Japanese. I've gotten into TCM recently and would like to study it in the near future. I've therefore been reading some Chinese websites about qi and meridians and I've found that often the terminology is the same as in Japanese albeit with differences of pronunciation and sometimes simplified versions of the characters. I think that knowledge of kanji/hanzi will help me a lot with the study of TCM. In the West the acupoints are designed by a number system (e.g., CV1, CV2, CV3, ect.) but in Chinese each acupoint has its own unique name which is comprised of hanzi and expresses some deeper meaning with regard to the function of the acupoint. For example, the name of CV1 in Chinese is hui yin, which means "meeting of the yin" since this is the point where all of the major yin meridians meet in the region of the perineum.
