Why doesn't he step aside and let someone with greater brains and money take over? Why do some persons with mental illnesses have such large egos? He doesn't seem to understand what humblebragging is (with members of his forum being too stupid to understand this concept too). When you, typically knowingly, try to get away with bragging about yourself by couching it in a deceptive show of humility while seeming to be modest about it, you employ humble bragging. The term, as well as the activity, is especially popular on social media. Example: Oh my gosh, my phone is so outdated! I'm embarrassed to bring it on dates with supermodels and actors. I'm the most genuine, down-to-earth person on the planet
