Mexico City. I wanted to learn the things, be near a park for the summer, get experience, and see an infectious disease doctor before I line up anything else. I always figure the capital will be easy beginner level for learning then I can go other places.
Tsar, can you tell us more about your Mexico City apartment? Do you rent it by the month? How much? How many rooms? Amenities? Are you near a park? Grocery store? Are there girls you can approach? Are they approachable?
Pics of your apt would be great as I would like to see what level of accommodation is available compared to other countries.
Any plans to visit other towns in México?
Right now, it seems like most girls are avoiding going out because of Covid-19. I didn't think it would be as empty but people take the Covid-19 seriously. I know I will eventually find some girls IRL to approach but Covid-19 is making things much more difficult with finding girls.
I got a cute 18 yo match on Tinder that is talking with me. I really hope she continues talking with me.
The only time I actually saw a girl was the teen Quinceañera Princess on my first day but she wasn't approachable...was with 2 girls and 2 guys. She was 14 or 15 maximum. The cutest, hottest girl I have seen IRL in almost 10 years. She was actually quite similar to the picture of my ideal Latina, except sandy tan hair so light it was almost blonde and a lighter tan skin. She was wearing tiny white shorts but not shorts that reveal booty.
I will most likely visit other places especially because I am ill. I might need to go to Northern Mexico once I have money saved to go to one of the major medical tourist hospitals.
My apartment is very small because Airbnb's were booked at the time and I wanted to be close to the park. The closest grocery stores are a 40-60 minute walk away. With only one arm working and the distance, I am eating out about once a day and buying some fruit or light stuff. The internet is fast. I am going to change accomodations to one on the other side of the city for more space, closer to a grocery store, and lower cost. The hot water doesn't get hot unless I run both the faucet and shower at the same time.
I am spending $600 a month including Airbnb fees.
There are many restaurants and convenient stores nearby. I had to walk about a km to get to a bank that could let me make an atm withdrawal. After I had a card get swallowed by an ATM in Italy inside a bank ATM, I won't ever use an ATM unless it is inside a bank during working hours.
I downloaded a taxi app that allows cash payments.
It is very walkable compared to America but not as walkable compared to the EU because it lacks the buttons to push to turn the streetlights red in most areas.
