I saw an interview with here years ago and she yalked about the way American men were used and abused by the sytem ands stated she hoped one day Mr. right would be in the cards.

At that time she had never been married and had no kids and she was very pretty.

There are some women who can actually think who know the truth about modern married life.

Although women make out like bandits in the divorce racket, it is becoming increasingly clear that marriage is an outmoded way of life for most, women included.

Thats because of the PETRO $ arrangement, when it is gone coming up so is America. Until then people will not realize the point of a good family. The people who set this do and we are to be managed as cattle in their book.

That article hits the nail on the head.

Kids and wives are money drains that would get in the way of my investment goal of an early retirement, moving abroad, and enjoying life full time for four decades while I'm still relatively young and healthy rather than the stupid, slavish, socially acceptable norm in America of being retired for one decade when I'm old and have one foot in the grave. I have a choice - stressing out over family drama and rotting in a cubicle until I'm 65-70 or living frugally and escaping wage slavery in my 40s, moving abroad and enjoying life. That's a no-brainer.

I've talked about this before, but I still don't understand why people get married in this day and age, especially if you're a guy where everything is stacked against you if the marriage fails. The reasons from other people that I've gotten for why I should marry have fallen along the lines of "that's what you're supposed to do," as if I actually give a damn about how others think I should live my life.

Part of it is just stupidity. But part of it is the deluge of false messaging that men get from parents (who grew up the pre-divorce heist era), religious nonsense, and mass media brainwashing.

I say let the pro-marriage idiots go ahead and destroy their lives so we can benefit from the bliss of schadenfreude.

Excellent points, everyone in my family is married except me. I see just how stressed out both mentally and physically they are from their jobs to raising their families.

I on the other hand, plan to retire early and then travel the world. For most people early retirement is pipe dream.
