Perhaps when traditions were established this would mean something, starchild, but in todays day and age paying for something doesnt mean anything, and top daters pay half anyway. That's all very well if you just want to get laid and use her for your own means but a gold digger in a serious relationship? These types have low morals and zero loyalty and they'll run off with the first guy that has more money than you. Even more alarming is that some will have you popped off for your life insurance. Try not to get too upset over this. First you must realize that by my estimation, somewhere between 50-70% of women are just irretrievably bonkers, just plain nutty or too angry and stubborn. But this makes it easy. All you have to do is talk to them a few minutes and you'll soon realize if she is an angry beast who thinks she ought to be in charge. Many of the women who are only out for money always have money on their minds. So that is all they will talk about, and women like these who complain so freely because they can't contain themselves are just advertising that they are garbage.

This would be one thing if this was a society in which women didn't work, but single women earn nearly as much as men. If women didn't have money, that would be different. And I do believe that women who complain about doing their share truly are worthless. That is unless she is a traditional woman in every other way and she is very submissive and intends to be a housewife or something.

Besides that most people who have relationships don't date. People who want to get together simply get together. People who think they should interview the entire world (and have sex with the whole world) are the ones who date. People who are searching for partners don't date. They select a partner and have a relationship with them. So you know the underlying premise is a fraud from the start, because dating is not about lifetime mate selection but rather dating is simply about dating (and screwing). Therefore there is no reason for a man to pay, since this isn't about marriage or the man providing. Since dating is just about sex (or free adventures with new strangers every week), it makes sense to go 50/50. Otherwise it would just be dishonest prostitution. Might as well get a real whore if the man must pay yet never have a guarantee. Dating is about sex. But the woman gets a one sided contract to her benefit. This is why dating only benefits women, and it is only about the woman. Dating is not about relationship but about the one sided empowerment of women. This is why dating does not lead to relationships. Relationships lead to relationships because people who want them make sure they get them.
