Hi guys,
I'm just finishing up the sequel to my first novel called Not SARS Just Sex.
I've printed the sequel for initial editing, and it's almost ready for it's first big print, The Oil Sands of Alberta.
Now I'm in California, and taking care of my grandmother. Recently some female relatives stopped by, and I was really suprised at the lack of respect i received, merely because I was the only man in the house. It caused me to start researching the idea of man hating. I realize my mother, and almost every woman in my family participate in it.
It's in the TV shows we watch, and in the commercials (I always mention the cereal commercial where the wife forces the man into the corner until he response to her last question "what else does the box say?" and he says, "it says shut up steve" or whatever his name is) then I searched and found the Wikipedia entry for this type of phenomenon. Most Americans find this type of commercial humorous, but I find it disgusting! Any comments?
the term is Misandry, or also is controversially refered to with phrases such as:
The book: Boys are stupid, throw rocks at them!
Female chauvinism
Men's movement
Men's rights
Masculist writer and frequent speaker at the Cato Institute Warren Farrell compares dehumanizing stereotyping of men to dehumanization of the Vietnamese people as "gooks."
"In the past quarter century, we exposed biases against other races and called it racism, and we exposed biases against women and called it sexism. Biases against men we call humor." —Warren Farrell, Women Can't Hear What Men Don't Say

That was a great quote by Warren Farrell.
So what is your second book about?
How do you manage to print it? Under what program? Are you self publishing or do you have help from an agent?

Misandry in America Follow up
My white american cousin came to visit me in California, and I spent the whole time miserable because of the way she talked to me for the week she was here.
She's a single mother, and at first I tried to tell her about my concerns how men were treated by women in the usa.
I won't get in too deep, but her reply to me was "I always thought men didn't have any feelings."
I tied to explain a few things that were obvious to me, but unfortunatley I feel, from her responses, that my wisdom fell on deaf ears. Later, after feeling played by her to get something she wanted, I realized she was in too deep in a cycle of "using men" rather than coexisting with them, and I've felt ill ever since. I just want to run back abroad and hide the moment my duty as elderly caregiver is finished.

I actually spent 2000 on equipment and am printing softbacks and also making hardbacks right at home. I used word, and then a 50 usd program called Clickprint. I have a duplex laser printer and can print one book on demand.
after that I have COME paper cutter that cost 250 usd and a Perfect Binding machine that cost 650 usd
I bought the last two items on ebay.
Oh, and my most recent Gem! A full color Laser printer NEW for 109.99 from Frye's Electronics (furthermore, the replacement toners only cost 40 usd each instead of the standard 80 usd) I need this for my covers.
