No people are not what they are raised as. None of my cousins are sluts, and their mother never taught them shit. They pretty much had the freedom to do whatever they wanted and still turned out good without ever being influenced by society. Divine women in the west don't exist, other than ugly ones nobody really want and have no choice but to act divine by default. My mother was brutal with the religion but neither me or my brother ended up religious at all despite what my mother tried to teach with it. You can also raise a son to be as "alpha" as you want but that doesn't mean he won't still end up sissified or even going trans if he decides to do that to himself. I laugh at people that think their parenting methods will prevent their children from turning out a certain way. It's horseshit. Parents can definitely influence their kids. Just not always in the way they think they’ll influence them. Kids tend to follow their parents beliefs most if the kids genuinely respect their parents. My siblings and I have all pretty much followed my parents beliefs. My sister is raising her kids and trying to be exactly like my mom was.

I do think that strict parenting generally doesn’t work. Kids become resentful and if they are resentful they grow to hate whatever you tried to impose on them. I notice a lot of leftist Democrats grew up under strict Christian parents.

My parents are Christian too but I think it’s important when trying to teach Christian values to your kids that you not become overly concerned with petty issues. My parents let me watch rated R movies. They let me play most M rated video games. They never set a strict curfew for me as a teenager.

I think parents definitely need to respond proportionally to how their kids behave. You can’t become really punitive at everything or else there’s no distinction between truly severe transgressions and petty transgressions.
