About 49.000 felons or more in prison serving jail-time for many years were given weapons, sent to combat against Ukraine to kill as many Ukrainians as they can, for looting and raping with the promise if they survive 6 months they will be released - and after their release these survivors commit again serious crimes, and this time ordinary Russian citizens are their victims.

Such an action shows what kind of low-life the government Russia really is - totally irresponsible. Sending felons to Ukraine and even do not consider what these felons who survived are doing after their return and release with their own Russian citizens.

The likely targets then were Austria, Germany, Italy and Denmark, Rama said.

For sure, in Russia there is no clear regulation for how to handle such a challenge of 49.000 felons in jail, who committed very serious crimes.

Just my opinion, but this should not be handled quickly in a group, but slowly one by one on an individual basis. Some of them like this guy are so crazy that they should never be allowed to be out of their prison cell.

Other prisoners might be given a chance to choose the way to shorten their long sentences being allowed joining the military, but surely not as a large group of inmates in combat for 6 months, but dispersed and only as an individual doing some work away from the frontline in factories, construction sites etc. - in places where they can be kept under control and are receiving some pay and at least doing such a job for 5 years - no problem he might be released on parole. It should be the final chance to change your life-style - you are again in trouble, back to jail for life.

Something like that sounds realistic to me, could be done maybe like that. But 6 months and do at the front line whatever you want with a gun and life bullets in your hands is clearly a NO WAY, asking for troubles.

Just my opinion, but this should not be handled quickly in a group, but slowly one by one on an individual basis. Some of them like this guy are so crazy that they should never be allowed to be out of their prison cell.

Other prisoners might be given a chance to choose the way to shorten their long sentences being allowed joining the military, but surely not as a large group of inmates in combat for 6 months, but dispersed and only as an individual doing some work away from the frontline in factories, construction sites etc. - in places where they can be kept under control and are receiving some pay and at least doing such a job for 5 years - no problem he might be released on parole. It should be the final chance to change your life-style - you are again in trouble, back to jail for life.

Something like that sounds realistic to me, could be done maybe like that. But 6 months and do at the front line whatever you want with a gun and life bullets in your hands is clearly a NO WAY, asking for troubles.

100% agree. Most Russian prisoners with chance of redemption should work in the back lines in the factories or logistics instead of deploying them into the front lines. Make it an one to two year contract, send them back to minimum security prison? (IS there such thing in Russia) for rehabilitation and reintegration training to society and parole officers monitoring them for year or two when they get out.

In contrast, the psychopaths and irredeemables should not be send to the front lines because not only they are danger to Ukrainian citizens but also danger to regular russian forces or other fellow members of their squad or platoon. They should continue to be locked in prison for the rest of their lives, not roaming around and killing innocent people across their country. Or they should be deployed as Verloren hoop, Forlorn hope and deployed in a dangerous suicide mission. None are expected to make back alive.
