You never know. There are perverts who are attracted to human faeces, so it is not much more of a stretch to imagine that people might be attracted to the likes of CE. You've got to remember, females can now get sex with the ease that men can get internet porn. That may be well true, but it's the same story everywhere. Some guys don't have much of anything productive to do. Some find it amusing. And some are just plain nuts.

You also have to understand that expressing views that destroy a man's ego investment can trigger this type of flaming obsessions.

I know I hit pretty hard on certain pathetic losers (no names needed), but I can tell from the themes that set them off (women, sex, status and wealth) that envy is a common motivation.

It's a mixture of amusement and success-validation for me. Someone very successful once told me as a university student, "If you are not getting criticism, resentment and hate in life, you are not doing something right and you don't matter. The extent that you are targeted by criticism and irrational attacks, is the extent that you matter in life."

Why success-validation? Think of how most women sit and watch beauty pageants. The plainest, ugliest and fattest women often try to savage the contestants by calling them ugly, awkward, or unattractive. That is a kind of reverse psychology where people on the bottom feel themselves higher in status than they actually are when they criticize people well above their level. Just as the beauty pageant contestant would not be offended when an ugly fat girl calls her ugly, I am not offended by darts being shot at me from guys whose lives are not very good. That someone cares so much to expend that energy is a validation on certain levels.

There is also pleasing irony in it because their criticisms tend to reflect their own personal fears, and things that THEY personally worry about.

I have come to think of this forum as a freak show. Some are paying customers who, in fact, pay their ticket by putting some effort in writing sensible and informative posts. Some are the actual freaks, who come here looking for attention and validation, the kind they cannot (and will never) get in real life.

The subjects of this particular thread are, apparently three. Only one has a profession and a life to go back to. The other two are freaks who can only hope to get noticed by plagiarising blogs about science and alternative health, or by banging on the same old drum of "wealth and good looks" for years.

LOL come to think about it. As if a real multi-millionaire playboy needed to spend the time CE spends on this forum, bickering with me and 90% of the members, just to convince a bunch of online identities he will never meet. Same for a real entrepreneur with multiple successful businesses and a world-changing intellect.

Yes, I admit it, I enjoyed bashing on these two trolls and exposing them for who they are because, for the past few months, I had more idle time in my hands than I wanted to. Judging from their posting history, these two (especially PAG) have been at it for years and years.

I am about to fly back to Italy and won't have much time anymore for this freak show. I have enjoyed what I could enjoy and hope you did the same
