I have to disagree . You can tell that the American Asian girls just ignored Dan but the fobby Asian girl was too polite to just flat reject him. A big reason why guys go for fobby or over sea Asian girls is because they tend to be more polite. It's in the culture.

It's like as if white or black culture lacks this behavior of just being polite to each other.

That certainly is a great scenario. Of course, try to strike up a conversation with a woman named Danielle at, let's say, Chicago's Oak Street Beach, and at the easiest, the scenario would be as follows;

Danielle's boyfriend/fiancee/husband : (brandishing an AK-47 rifle) Get away from my lady, fo' I blast ya!

Or worse.

Dan : Hi, how are you?
(Almost immediately, a thousand rounds of AK-47 come roaring through the air, ripping Dan to pieces and killing him almost instantly. Dan is then robbed and his body left bleeding all over the place.)

That blondie is my type. I can see why he loves her. I love her too. Innocent smile and shy. I bet she hasn't been plundered yet by too many men. Otherwise she would have reacted like that pink haired freak.

Dan needs to stop confessing his love for women who haven't chosen him. It would be okay if the women were already flirting, but since these are cold approaches, his declarations of love just make him seem creepy. It is also extremely inappropriate to comment on a woman's physical attributes below the neck, such as breasts and buttocks, if they are strangers.

I think Dan needs to practice simple conversation with strangers first. Master small talk and just hello, how are you. After that, then perhaps he could move on to actually approaching women. But with the method he is currently using, he is only embarrassing himself.

I cringed when I saw these videos.

The guy filming is super awkward.

For the record, I've approached women on the streets in the US before and had some success. It is certainly possible. I have friends that have gotten married off of cold approaches in the US.

You don't even need to be very good-looking (I'm not), but you do need to not be socially awkward and pick up on signals.
