Why the hell America even in Asia?

Can't Korea, japan, China take care of themselves as they have done for a million years now :) ..Why should America poke into everyones life
Nonsense, most South Koreans are not interested into offering half of their salaries for unification and re-education of all these people from the North.
Unification can be only considered after a major change of the North Korean government and this will not be the case as long as China is not doing anything about that. Even then, I doubt any unification will take place, but maybe some more communication might start between North Korea/South Korea and Japan.

China takes care of itself and ONLY about itself without any consideration of others and this is the problem, China is threatening all smaller countries around.
Tibet is already occupied. China is now busy to take away all fishing grounds and off-shore resources near Philippines and Vietnam, it is claiming huge land from India, Arunachal Pradesh, calling it South Tibet, it is entering with its military frequently tiny Bhutan and claiming even territory from this little nation.

Of course China is also claiming land from South Korea and Japan. Even North Korea does not trust China anymore.

As long as North Korea will continue with its nuclear experiments and is firing rockets towards Japan I prefer the US-military to stay in Japan, otherwise Japan will be force to arm itself with nuclear weapons. Same is true of course also about the policy of China to enlarge its territory and which has also nulear arms.

Another question mark is about Russia.

US-military is free to leave of course South Korea and Japan, the question is what to do with all these servicemen? Who will pay for their expenses including their salaries? The Japanese government is very much willing to pay for its presence. The choice for Japan is either nuclear arms or to stay together with the US-military. The political tendency in Japan is more about to stay together with USA.
So its all everyone's fault except America's. America seems to be the savior of the world in your eyes while it destroys every country on earth.

There has been wars in Asia for ever between countries but it got lot worse when America showed up.

No THANK YOU. Even if America goes away. Asia can take care of itself as it had for 1000s of years even before America existed. We don't want Americans to dictate what is best for Asia.

The devil is in the details. Who gave America the right to hold Nuclear Weapons while rest of us cannot?

Why is America refusing to even talk to North Korea?

ince the end of the Korean War 60 years ago, the government of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK or North Korea) has repeatedly put forward virtually the same four proposals to the United States. They are:

1. A peace treaty to end the Korean War.

2. The reunification of Korea, which has been “temporarily” divided into North and South since 1945.

3. An end to the U.S. occupation of South Korea and a discontinuation of annual month-long U.S-South Korean war games.

4. Bilateral talks between Washington and Pyongyang to end tensions on the Korean peninsula.

The U.S. and its South Korean protectorate have rejected each proposal over the years. As a consequence, the peninsula has remained extremely unstable since the 1950s. It has now reached the point where Washington has used this year’s war games, which began in early March, as a vehicle for staging a mock nuclear attack on North Korea by flying two nuclear-capable B-2 Stealth bombers over the region March 28. Three days later, the White House ordered F-22 Raptor stealth fighter jets to South Korea, a further escalation of tensions.

Here is what is behind the four proposals.

1. The U.S. refuses to sign a peace treaty to end the Korean War. It has only agreed to an armistice. An armistice is a temporary cessation of fighting by mutual consent. The armistice signed July 27, 1953, was supposed to transform into a peace treaty when “a final peaceful settlement is achieved.” The lack of a treaty means war could resume at any moment. North Korea does not want a war with the U.S., history’s most powerful military state. It wants a peace treaty.

2. Two Koreas exist as the product of an agreement between the USSR (which borderd Korea and helped to liberate the northern part of country from Japan in World War II) and the U.S., which occupied the southern half. Although socialism prevailed in the north and capitalism in the south, it was not to be a permanent split. The two big powers were to withdraw after a couple of years, allowing the country to reunify. Russia did so; the U.S. didn’t. Then came the devastating three-year war in 1950. Since then, North Korea has made several different proposals to end the separation that has lasted since 1945. The most recent proposal, I believe, is “one country two systems.” This means that while both halves unify, the south remains capitalist and the north remains socialist. It will be difficult but not impossible. Washington does not want this. It seeks the whole peninsula, bringing its military apparatus directly to the border with China, and Russia as well.

3. Washington has kept between 25,000 and over 40,000 troops in South Korea since the end of the war. They remain — along with America’s fleets, nuclear bomber bases and troop installations in close proximity to the peninsula — a reminder of two things. One is that “We can crush the north.” The other is “We own South Korea.” Pyongyang sees it that way — all the more so since President Obama decided to “pivot” to Asia. While the pivot contains an economic and trade aspect, its primary purpose is to increase America’s already substantial military power in the region in order to intensify the threat to China and North Korea.

4. The Korean War was basically a conflict between the DPRK and the U.S. That is, while a number of UN countries fought in the war, the U.S. was in charge, dominated the fighting against North Korea and was responsible for the deaths of millions of Koreans north of the 38th parallel dividing line. It is entirely logical that Pyongyang seeks talks directly with Washington to resolve differences and reach a peaceful settlement leading toward a treaty. The U.S. has consistently refused.

Q: who gave north korea nuclear weapons?
A: Bill clinton

Q: who would turn america into north korea if elected?
A: hillary clinton (the "wife" of bill clinton who was rumored to be the one calling the shots during the 90s)

North korea - communist government
hilary clinton - card carrying communist
bernie sanders - red diaper doper baby (born and raised commie)
Trump - capitalist businessman

The title of this topic is a contradiction. America has moved in the direction of north korea right now (although it's nowhere near north korea). How? we've got a red diaper doper baby in the white house right now! "I chose my friends carefully and sought out marxist professors." - obama dreams from my father

Very True...

What America did to North Korea is nothing short of massacre.

In general, Koreans are very very smart both North and South. America knew this ....they divided it on purpose.

Look at South Korea...A real economic power house in electronics, and also in Culture... Kpop is now even more popular than American Hip Hop. Their fashion industry is one of the best in the world. Samsung beats Apple any day just by sales alone

Korea also has one of the fastest internet in the world.

The highest youtube video count is Gangnam Style from Korea

Koreans are very honest proven by countless youtube videos on Dropping Purse and return rate Test done all over the world.

If external powers did not attack Korea...North Koreans would be same as South Koreans

I wonder who would win in a battle ? StarStud or the cloaked T101 Droid.

Thanks for all the info Star Child, in one of your posts above you stated America , Russia , England and China carved Korea up. This is very interesting. The 5th plank in the communist manifesto is an exclusive credit monopoly which means unlimited unbacked currency and they all used this in their empire building at the expense of everybody else.

These are the monies of fascist and the thinking class can do nothing about these dictatorship building fascist doing all these crimes throughout history because the idiot herd is to stupid to educate itself about understanding money.

John Adams stated when they put the country together of America that ignorance of understanding money by the masses was the real problem America faced.

He was right! People have had plenty of time to understand the purpose of a honest money system in order to facilitate honest trade for the foundation of a honest society. Yes Star Child you are correct about Americans and the guy's who put America together were smoking some high grade crack in what they tried to do.

Star Child,
You are insane. Stalin's regime was responsible for North Korea. They invaded South Korea and the U.S intervened to stop the spread of communism. The reason American troops still occupy the 38th parallel is because the war never officially ended and there are still skirmishes between the U.S/South Korea and North Korea even today. Say what you want about the U.S, but we have legitimate reasons to be there. In fact, we haven't done enough. If I had my way we would invade them and take down that wacky regime once and for all.

There are many countries nowadays which are holding nuclear weapons, not only USA. China has them, Russia has them, Pakistan too... India too... UK too... France too... Others like Japan can develop them within weeks if necessary, like Japan. Israel might also have secret nuclear arms etc. etc.
I do not understand your point.

And about North Korea:

About a peace treaty, between which countries?

About unification, the rich South Koreans do not want to unify with the poor North Koreans, so what to do?

About USA in this region, this is more a question between China (and somehow Russia too) and USA. The problem is China, and not North Korea.

About bilateral talks, this can be only between North Korea and South Korea - what has USA to do with that?

Openly said, I got the impresdsion, you are living in a dream - something like tiny North Korea is good and large USA is bad or something like that. Totally far away from any reality.

Of course I also noticed how you avoid any discussion about China...however the existence and threats which are coming out to various Asian neighbors from this important country cannot be ignored. Without USA it will be necessary to arm Japan and South Korea with nuclear weapons too to compensate the existence of nuclear arms in China and North Korea. The future of Taiwan cannot be ignored either.

This is correct, but it should be mentioned, that Communist China created in 1949 also participated in the Korean War.

USA will stay in South Korea and Japan, as long as both countries pay USA for military protection.
Another option might be to offer both countries nuclear weapons, but so far all 3 parties prefer to keep them with USA.

Of course there is also the option to force North Korea to give up all nuclear arms, but up to now only China can do that, and China is doing nothing about it.

So what to do?

After the surrender of the Empire of Japan to the Allies, division at the 38th parallel marked the beginning of Soviet and American command over the North and South, respectively. U.S. forces landed at Incheon on September 8, 1945, and established a military government shortly thereafter.[9] The forces landing at Incheon were of the XXIV Corps of the U.S. Tenth Army.[10] They were commanded by Lt. General John R. Hodge, who then took charge of the government.[11] Four days before he arrived in Korea, Hodge told his officers that Korea "was an enemy of the United States".[2]

On September 9, at a surrender ceremony, Hodge announced that the Japanese colonial government would remain intact, including its personnel and its governor-general. After a major outcry, Hodge replaced the governor-general with an American and removed all the Japanese bureau chiefs, though he, in turn, enlisted the former Japanese bureaucrats as advisors.

After a major outcry, Hodge replaced the governor-general with an American and removed all the Japanese bureau chiefs, though he, in turn, enlisted the former Japanese bureaucrats as advisors.

F**cking MORE

Faced with mounting popular discontent, in October 1945 Hodge established the Korean Advisory Council. The majority of the Council seats were given to members of the Korean Democratic Party which had been formed at the encouragement of the U.S. and was primarily made up of large landowners, wealthy businesspeople, and former officials in the colonial government. A few members of the PRK were offered to join, but they refused and instead criticized the Council appointees for their collaboration with the Japanese.[4]

AKA Puppet Regime

A proposal was made in 1945 for a long-term trusteeship arrangement. In December 1945, the United States and the Soviet Union agreed to administer the country under the U.S.-Soviet Joint Commission, as termed by the Moscow Conference of Foreign Ministers. It was agreed that Korea would govern independently after four years of international oversight. However, both the U.S. and the USSR approved Korean-led governments in their respective halves, each of which was favorable to the occupying power's political ideology. From a number of perspectives, it may be argued that not all Koreans necessarily favoured these arrangements. In the north, Koreans responded with violent insurrections[citation needed]. In the south the interim legislature and the interim government were headed by Kim Kyu-shik and Syngman Rhee, respectively, and the elections for which were met with a large uprising.[5][6]

This is how much South Koreans Loved Americans

The USAMGIK tried to contain civil violence in the south by banning strikes on December 8 and outlawing the revolutionary government and the people's committees on December 12. Things spiraled quickly out of control however, with a massive strike on September 23, 1946 by 8,000 railway workers in Busan which quickly spread to other cities in the South. On October 1, police attempts to control rioters in Daegu caused the death of three student demonstrators and injuries to many others, sparking a mass counter-attack killing 38 policemen. In Yeongcheon, a police station came under attack by a 10,000-strong crowd on October 3, killing over 40 policemen and the county chief. Other attacks killed about 20 landlords and pro-Japanese officials. The U.S. administration responded by declaring martial law, firing into crowds of demonstrators and killing a publicly unknown number of people.[7]

South Koreans DID NOT LIKED THE AMERICANS...North Koreans DID NOT LOVE THE RUSSIANS.

America and Russia have destroyed more countries than Korea could ever.

These two evil masonic Illuminati countries have destroyed countless tiny independent countries

Whenever Russia & American wants to destroy a country they come from opposite sides in the name of Communism/Democracy – Socialism/Capitalism aka any opposite ideologies with a common ground on Freedom. This is the same tactic they used for over 100 years now.

List of countries they have divided and ruled and butchered millions of local population.

Whenever US & Russia ZERO-IN on any country…Its guaranteed Innocent millions in that country will die.

1. Germany

2. Korea

3. Balkans

4. Combodia

5. Vietnam

6. Yugoslavia

7. Afghanistan

8. Libya

9. Ukraine

and now

10. Syria

Is their any doubt looking at the past history of these two countries involved in so called peace and freedom of its local population and then murdering millions and quietly leaving the scene as Russia has done often in the past with America staying to butcher more.

Why do you not mention China? Nowhere else in this world and its history so many local people died than in China with Mao's Great Leap Forward.
Killing about 35 million of his own people by deliberately starving them to death is the most despicable crime a leader could do.
