I give private English lessons myself and live near Yugo-Zapadnaya in Moscow. I am aware of him. Once every blue moon, I come across another black American expat. Fortunately, the few who are here are generally friendly, well-behaved and respectful of local customs.

Most people of African descent in Moscow, however, are native African themselves who come here to study. Many attend People's Friendship University.

I like this guy. He got dealt two sh*t hands in life; first being born a male in a feminist dominated country, second being born black in America. For black American men, unless they're super good looking, rich or famous, their choices in women are mostly restricted to:

A) fat white bitches
B) ugly and\or fat black chicks
C) The occasional rare hispanic or asian chick that's open to dating black men

For black men A and B are relatively easy to get, but C is really hard to find. Not that it really matters, because all these choices suck. The white and black girls are going to be selfish, bitchy and self-centered because they grew up in America. The handful of hot black girls are all dating basketball playes and rappers. So that leaves average and unattractive black girls, but even if you can put up with their looks, their personalities are just as bad as the white girls, only bossier and even less feminine. A lucky or really charming black guy might hook up with the rare hispanic or asian immigrant gal that hasn't yet been polluted by American culture, but it's unlikely as those types tend to stick to their own men because of family and cultural expectations. So basically if you're an average black guy in America, your choices are poor.

So what did this guy Philko do? He changed the rules of the game. He went to Ukraine where there's tons of hot women that haven't yet been spoiled by feminism, and he cleverly used his skin color as an advantage. In Ukraine, blacks are rare, so Philko used his funny personality and charm to sell himself as the exotic and interesting foreigner. If he were a glum or introverted black guy, his skin color would only work against him. But by being so wacky and entertaining, he's probably doing better with the ladies than an average white guy over there.

What a great example of truly becoming "happier abroad". I wish him the best.
