Pretty sure he already had a history of dealing/trafficking in Canada. Why assume he was framed?

I notice that the US has a warning against travelling to China due to "Capricious enforcement of local laws". Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

He's receiving the death penalty so it doesn't come as a surprise for him to say this.
