This is really, really stupid, and is no doubt intended to achieve the final destruction of Korean education. Thank god I am not still there, as it will inevitably result in Korean schools being worse hellholes than their Western counterparts. It is as if Western liberalism really is a kind of biological virus, in that it seems to spread remorselessly, even though everyone with even an amoeba's intelligence knows that the effects will be disastrous.

Hard to believe a country with no whiny minorities, no (real or false) war guilt, and no do-gooding Jews could come up with this. WHo the hell would even come up with an idea like this? Freemasons maybe?

This will only encourage kids to act like goons with no respect for authority or teachers. You can bet, this will have an incredibly negative effect on foreign teachers teaching in Korea, because Korean kids already see foreign teachers as 'clowns,' so now with the threat of corporal punishment gone--why would Korean kids even pay attention to the 'stupid' foreigner now?

Because Koreans worship whites. I bet that the overweight Black women that blog about how good Korea is to them and how Black people don't need to worry about racism in Korea (yeah right) are going to be coming home with worse stories though.

A big problem in Korea, as much as in the West, is the feminization of the teaching profession. Females have pretty much taken it over. This means the powers that be can do whatever they want without resistance, since females believe whatever anyone in authority tells them and do whatever they are told, and no-one really respects them.
