OK, it's official. I have my ticket booked and will be heading to the Philippines the last 2 weeks of December.

Actually, truth be told, I will be spending about half of that time in Vietnam.

It all should be a great adventure and while I have no interest in just interviewing/dating a bunch of random girls, I suspect I will be meeting one or two

I would say good luck, but all of us know it has nothing to do with luck!
