This is a strange community, there are expats, mongers and those actually in search of a spouse. They do not seek the same things but this is one of the few sites still discussing cultural issues. Those who banned the Winston Wu's back in the day have mostly died because they offered no debate, they were either all happy talk or too openly supported commercial sex areas which countries have made illegal for their citizens to travel internationally for those services.
Of course it is hardest of all who seek the ease of a sex worker without directly paying for her and those are the biggest gripers.

That's to be expected. As Ladislav has mentioned many times on this forum, every individual will have a different experience in a particular country; you can't expect everyone to write the same thing about a country or have the same experiences all the time. It's UP TO YOU, to go to these countries and find-out--by yourself!

Its hard to base everything on pictures i agree. Personality and how they act can enhance looks ill give you that so maybe your girlfriend has something in person or video i can't see in pictures. My bargirl was amazing in person which added to her physical attraction. For comparison steve55 girlfriend is about a 6.5 approximately hard to tell cause she looks different in each pic, still not as hot or sexy as my barhoe but slightly hotter than your girl. Winstons girl is too tall for my tastes and her face isn't as good as my hoe she always looks serious and I dont care for her eyes and smile id say she is around a 6.5 as a result. None of which i would classify in hot category. Even my barhoe was borderline id say about a 6.8 cause she had an amazing charismatic big smile ive never seen another filipina with, thin wide nose (not the potato nose like your girl), and although she had dark skin her skin was very smooth and she was a 4'11 spinner which i love. But this is basing on pictures which often aren't the true person, if i saw them in person i could compare more properly.
The best way to be share the photos to everyone not one person cause your tastes are different than mine or others and your only one person but i dont want to share photos to everyone. Besides the opinions and evidence I have offered up in a couple of my blog postings, let me add one more weird thought. It's 5:00 AM here so maybe I am not thinking straight but here it goes.
I am a jazz guitar player. 18 years ago I got the wild idea that I wanted to make a jazz (archtop) guitar. I bought the only book which existed at the time on how to do it and bought tools and a year and probably a million hours later, I had an archtop guitar. I have made several others since.
But here's the point. When I showed off that first guitar to several professional builders they invariably asked, "Why did you choose an archtop as your first guitar to make? You do realize it's the most difficult guitar to build." The truth is I didn't realize. In a sense I was too stupid to know that I couldn't do something - so I just went and did it.
Sometimes being an "idiot" is a good thing.
Oh, BTW, I'm up at 5:00 AM because my clearly too young of a wife, woke me up at 4:00 to get busy Of course at my age I'm not supposed to be able to do that either. Thank God I'm an idiot.

There is no such thing as a two year Visa. If you are such a well traveled guy you would know that. Like most of your expert opinions, this one is not entirely factual. What I assume you mean is the two year permanent residency (Green Card) which she already has.
And we've been back to PI multiple times, including two months ago. Could I in theory find someone else in PI - of course. So can most guys. Any middle aged guy who follows guidance from guys like Pete can find a good one also.
You're unhappy with the gf you had in the Philippines - we ALL get that! Doesn't mean the rest of us are. The classy guy would congratulate the guy who had found success, not try to prove it was impossible.

I'm not sure everyone understood my intentions with the list. I did not say you needed all of the qualities, nor did I say you needed even half of them. A few would work and the ones with stars are the most important. If you are a 250 pound, 5'9" 55 year old man but with a good marriage minded attitude, pleasant personality, realistic standards and an interest in the culture then you will probably do well or at least ok in the Philippines. Just by being fat or old doesn't mean you won't do well or can't do well. Sure you are at somewhat of a disadvantage then a younger more in shape guy, but there's still possibilities that you will succeed.
My main point of the list was to simply state that people should at least try and work on themselves before coming there. Age and height cannot be changed but fitness and mentality can and so can peoples views and personalities. The guys that usually fail in the Philippines are the one's who step off the plane after reading Roosh V and expect every girl to want him, without him offering anything to the table (whether it be youth, good looks, great personality, humor...). Those guys tend to be that average middle aged divorce, with a beer belly, entitlement issues, hanging around bar girls and other similar expats. He has no interest in the culture or a desire to do anything but sleep with as many available chicks as possible. He loses his money then comes to these forums and bitches about how terrible the country is. If you want to succeed and do well then those are SOME of the qualities that you would want to have, and a great, adventurous personality trumps looks anyday in the Philippines. I think few would disagree with that but we cannot also say being a 32 YO guy with a decent fit body would not do better overall than that 55 YO example, if they had similar personalities and views.
