Good catch on the shopping.

Most pictures of Asians - men or women - are doctored, shopped or overexposed to show lighter skin tone and a smoother complexion free of wrinkles. Faces are routinely altered so she won't look like that as above.

It's totally common and normal and part of 'saving face'. The photo studios do it as a matter of course, no request necessary.

She won't look that good in person, or have that light of a skin tone or that smooth of a complexion.

She will, however, be that thin and have that body shape.

THAT is something that is NOT altered in photos.

Wow, that original woman is hot. Yes she will have that figure. But of course the photo is airbrushed, all AFA photos are.

But I've done some digging, and a lot of "natural" photos are also airbrushed. I think every Chinese PC must come with a copy of Adobe Photoshop. Girls often doctor their own images. I've been caught out with this on Chinese Love Links. I don't know what software they use, but it's extremely good at what it does.

As to the lady being single, there are a lot of single alpha females in Shenzhen. It's the same with most other large cities where there are increasing numbers of female friendly office jobs. And most of the Shenzhen ladies (I've talked to loads) on dating sites are economic migrants from other provinces.

Did she stuff her bra!? A chinese woman with breasts is rarer seen than a flying pig and I have a hard time believing a woman like that (with a pale complexion and such a body) would stay single for very long in China.

I was about to say the same thing...regardless, these women are all gorgeous in my book and by my standards. Just think, a 50 year old American man can get a 30 year old Chinese woman, who is considered "too old" in her own country, but by American standards she looks 20. It's a freaking win-win situation the way I see it. The other thing too, is that an "older" Chinese woman would be that much more mature than an AW, plus she probably has good career skills (she could be a doctor or some such) and some money saved up, so you can start a good life together. That's great news, if you're an ESL teacher and can never hope to save lots of money and retire in style.

I have a couple of mates who used to live and work in China for a number of years and they say many are freaks in bed. They don't have any sexual hang ups like Westerners sometimes do. I think though if you met a career Chinese woman with her own money and was better set then you in life, even if you had a decent relationship she would probably pull the strings. So if you can't handle a dominant A type GF or wife who runs the show, your better off not considering getting involved with a Chinese self-made woman in her 30's or above, even if she is desperate. Once she has the ring, she ain't anymore...

Has anyone tried QQ instant messenger to meet chinese women? You can search for contacts iin your own area. I know it's very stalkerish but so far I've met a 25 year old student in Dublin who seems open to the possibility of meeting up.

I've been wondering why I put so much thought into going abroad to find an asian women while I live in a city with a huge population of female asian immigrants. It just feels totally wrong to approach them. I can only assume they have a horrible impression of the men here anyway.
