Why do American women never flirt with men?

Yes indeed Have2fly. I've been flirting with the idea of learning Portuguese. Brazilian women are just so amazingly beautiful. There are various shades of complexion and different types of looks that makes Brazil home to some of the most beautiful women in the world. HOWEVER, do they make good wives? I don't know about this. From what I've heard and would also presume, based on my travels in Latin America, that they are flirtatious, playful, and very approachable, but I'm not sure they are wife material. From what I know about Brazil, it doesn't seem like a marriage-oriented culture. Then again I haven't been there.

They do flirt, it's just they do it rudely compared to foreign women. American woman will flirt, most of the time just because they saw a guy who isn't worshipping her enough. So they flirt (rudely) to get his attention. Then once she has gotten it, he's history. But the man wants it to be traditional, where it's boy meets girl, etc. So when that doesn't come about, he says women dont flirt. . . Women do flirt, and they do so very aggressively, but its not for good reasons.

Wow, thanks for the kind words! Yeah, I stopped posting anywhere, and even stopped working out like 5 years ago. LOL. I was just about to join a gym again when all this lock-down started. At least I'm still working at my job though.

Maybe they don't flirt if they aren't attracted to you. It does seem more subtle with American women than with women from some other countries. Study a bit of body language. You may not be picking up on it if it is non-verbal.

Women might be flirting with you, but you may have some subconcious blinders on for women over 110 or 140 lbs. or whatever, and then when you go to a country where women tend to be thinner, it seems like a lot of them are flirting with you.

When I went to Indonesia, it seemed like a lot of women flirted in a kind of middle schoolish way. Maybe I noticed more because more of them were thin, and hefty girls were rare. I was also teaching middle school and other grades. A group of girls would all say "Hello Mister"-- and them mispronounce my last name which was similar to a celebrity last name they liked. But it seemed a little like flirting to me.

There was this girl with short hair shaped about like an egg that used to flirt heavily whenever I went to Mega-M to shop. I'd say I needed to go home, and she said, 'Mau ikut', or something like that-- 'I want to go with you' in Indonesian. She wasn't attractive to me at all, so there was no temptation to take her up on it. Some young women would engage in playful banter, usually a little less forward than that, when you got to know them a little. I'm thinking of the teachers I worked with.

Once a couple of reasonably good-looking fellow teachers were making at eyes at me trying to distract them when I ran a little English class for them, in the back of the room. I saw them whispering and realized they'd agree to do it. I couldn't keep my concentration and started laughing a bit.

I think part of it was my 'foreign mystique.' As a white guy, I'd get attention from women who liked white guys, and suddenly girls seemed to think I was good looking and I'd hear comments on it. Usually, they aren't that direct as to say, 'You are good-looking', though I did get that when I was traveling over a school break, decided to stay in a $2 losmen for the experience, and this 9. something looking prostitute who'd just slept with three Chinese sailers was at the front office where I went for something and said I was 'ganteng.' That's when I learned that that word meant good-looking. Most weren't as overt as the prostitute who had financial motives to flirt. I passed up on the freshly-used prostitute, of course, and the fat plain one the owner of the losmen was trying to get me to rent. I just thought the place was a cheap hotel for travelers. The next night, I sprung for the expensive nice standard hotel, which was only about $10 at the time.

There were also a lot of girls at church who liked to say hi and talk to me in the foyer afterwards. That died down quite a bit after I got married. When I was single, I had two girls give me gifts to send my mom at Christmas. Before I got this information there is this drop-dead-gorgeous Chinese-looking woman I was close friends with, and we both kind of had feelings for each other, but she was clear on wanting just to be friends and was interested in someone she wasn't dating. She sent some giant gift for my mom, giving it to me at the airport and messing up my plans to have enough for my hands to hold and no check-in luggage. Probably in a moment of weakness for her resolve to hold out for this other guy, she might have thought of me as a back-up plan and bought the gift for my mom in case we ended up together. I was clueless as to what that probably meant. I asked someone what does that mean. They told me that means she likes you. She's trying to develop a relationship with the mother-in-law. Her personality was way too dominant and aggressive, and she would have been really hard to handle, so I am really glad nothing really got started between us. But she was really pretty. So was the woman I would meet later and marry. I saw that woman online and she looks older, not bad for her age, but my wife, who is probably 7 or 8 years younger and looks young for her age certainly looks a lot better now. And my wife is probably a lot easier to along with, though my wife is a go-getter and not the docile type, either.

I don't know what you guys definition of flirting is. But AW dont flirt in real life the way they do on TV or in the movies. That's for sure. And they don't flirt like the Russian girls do in my videos. And they definitely don't flirt in West Coast America or Seattle where flirting is vilified, and if you flirt with them, they will call the police. Maybe AW will flirt more in the Midwest, but definitely not on West Coast or Pacific Northwest. No way jose.

Btw, do any of you remember the 80's? Do you remember that American girls and women sometimes did flirt back then? But beginning in 1990, they never did so anymore. I've rarely seen them do that. Maybe in the Midwest they may do not. But not on the West Coast. Hell no. On the West Coast you are expected to NEVER notice them and leave them along and pretend they don't exist, and they in turn pretend you don't exist. Haven't you ever been to West Coast America? You can ignore women for a million years and they will never flirt with you for ignoring them. No way. Go there and you will see. Even if you're good looking, it's just not in the culture of west coast America to do that. Total taboo. Back in the 80's yeah it would happen, but after 1990, no way jose. I swear. Your state may be different though.

Anyway, the west coast has the greatest abundance of males in the entire country. I've been to the West coast and I will say it's just like being indivisible to women. I find that American girls flirt in three ways depending on their attractiveness.

-Hot white girls behave very passively, yet personably and bubbly. Often in a way to preserve plausible deniability if need be.

-Overweight non-black girls (or ethnic women like Latinos and Indians) are a bit more overt and obvious to account for their lesser SMV.

-Ugly girls or overweight black women tend to be downright obnoxious and disruptive to test your tolerance/compliance level, or to simply demand that you pay them some attention.

In Europe, I find that most girls simply stand right next to me or directly in my field of vision and wait for me to initiate conversation. The more overt ones will smile or make an innocuous comment about where we might be at the moment. Anything more overt than that in Europe means she is a working girl or escort seeking potential clients.

I think you guys misunderstand me. I wasn't saying that American women who are your friends and acquaintances don't sometimes flirt with you or tease you or give you false hope. They've done that to me online too. But I'm talking about American women flirting with strangers they don't know, like in the movies. They never do that in real life, not with a stranger in public. That's what I'm getting at.

I've seen some young American girls blow kisses at random guys, including me, while driving by in their cars because they are bored on the freeway. But they don't do that if they are out of the car and walking on public ground.

Have you guys also noticed that if you aren't an AW's type, she expects you to act and be asexual around her, as if you have no sexual desires or lusts? As if you are gay or something? It's like heterosexual men aren't allowed to have desires in America, unless an AW finds him to be "her type". That really sucks. In Latin and Slavic countries, you are allowed to flirt if you are a man because it's considered natural normal manly behavior and they accept that. But modern America does not.
