As western economies implode the problems associated with educated women will increase. However, there's no such thing as "soft prostitution". She's either a prostitute or she isn't.

Huh? With a mistress arrangement, the woman gets the money a day, a week or a month at a time. She thus has an incentive to keep the man happy and alive and to make the arrangement last. With marriage, she gets most of the benefits up front, and so has little incentive to keep the man happy or alive, and eventually is given a powerful incentive to divorce. Totally different.
