Poetry writing is my hobby, and so I turn to different sources for unique word meanings to ornate my writings. So let's learn some Jap words today. All the writers and poets in here will love these.
Komorebi (木漏れ日) - Sunlight filtering through the trees
Mono no aware (物の哀れ) - bitter-sweetness of fading beauty
shinrin-yoku (森林浴) - being immersed in a forest or talking a walk through the woods
ukiyo (浮世) - transient world / fleeting life
Hanafubuki (花吹雪) - Cherry Blossoms petals blizzard
ichi-go ichi-e (一期一会) - Treasure every encounter, for it will never recur / one chance in a lifetime
wabisabi (侘寂) - accepting the transcience and imperfection of things
Kyouka suigetsu (鏡花水月) - flower in the mirror / moon on water
