How are the Republians not the party of the wealthy?

I read about Republicans cutting taxes for the wealthy yet cutting food stamps for poor people as well as unemployment benefits, veterans benefits, 9/11 first responders, funds to education, etc. I also frequently see a Republican talking about either the threat of Islam or the Hispanics crossing the border. Or Louis Gohmert making up stories of people buying crab with food stamps.

What have they done for the country as a whole?
