Anyone comparing my and your financial situations would agree I'm the one who knows what he is doing where money is concerned, and the reason I got where I am today is because I consistently chose options that were safe and predictable in the long run, though possibly unpleasant in the short-run, and then let time and compound interest work their magic. I scrupulously avoided and continue to avoid anything with big risks, meaning big downside potential regardless of upside potential. Because you are something of an idiot, you won't understand how the preceding statements apply to my decision to vote for Harris. However, this comment might be interesting to other forum members.

I'm not unhappy Harris lost, because, as noted in my OP, I detest her. However, Trump is something of a leap into the unknown. Ukraine took a leap into the unknown by electing Zelensky in 2019 and that leap didn't turn out well for most Ukrainians (war profiteers like Zelensky are doing okay).

I just voted Kamala Harris. I detest her and all the other Democrat leaders, but at least she is a known bad quantity. USA will simply continue on its existing bad trajectory with her as President, whereas God only knows what Trump might do. Ukraine is an example of what can go wrong when radicals take control of a country, and Trump is very radical: a loose cannon if ever there was one. He was already erratic back in 2016-2020 and appears to have become increasingly mentally unstable since then. Kamala Harris is a dimwit, so the deep state will make all the big decisions for her, and they are not suicidal. So we'll have nonstop war, but at low intensity, enough war for the military industrial complex to profiteer but not enough to put USA at risk of nuclear annihilation.

So that's my reason for voting for Harris. Remains to be seen if she wins, and if Trump then incites another insurrection.

Two days after saying Pompeo and Hayley wouldn't be in his administration, Trump starts appointing the most ardently pro-Israel cabinet in U.S. history.
