All that Gold and Silver stuff in nonsense, Rothschild said it was a relic and he is right. Silver has way more practical value over gold and is about 15 times more plentiful.
Those 2 elements are just 2 things of many that can be used as trade medium's, it's all about what a society need's and agrees to use with one another. The agreements can and will change all the time depending on what the civilizations need but we are talking about a intelligent society and we do not have that.
