Dollar Crash Happens This Year

They have been making this claim for the last 7 years and I am convinced that the precious metals industry is behind this alarmism to limit its losses and attract future doomsdayers.

The fact is we would have to see the US reach such depths relative to other developed economies, AND we would have to see our reserve currency status revoked, AND the Petrodollar would have to cease to exist.

We are not even close to any of those just yet.

The dollar has actually gotten surprisingly stronger in the last 4 months albeit due to some central bank manipulations around the globe because a strong currency has drawbacks economically-speaking.

As for the scary Realistic Military Training, that has been going on forever. My helicopter squadron, as part a Special Operations Capable Marine Expeditionary Unit did city training in 1987. Where else would they do realistic training around an urban environment?

There's lots of hype surrounding metals. After gold hit a new all time high of $1950 in 2011 it definitely got my attention. Gold has been bouncing around $1200 for several years now. However, its actually been going up since the Bretton-Woods agreement of 1971. It hit an inflation adjusted high in 1980 during the Iran hostage crisis. When Iran and Israel start firing at each other gold is going to take off again.

You'll notice from the chart below gold went up during WW II. Gold is currently about $1200 and WW III hasn't officially started.

Both gold and silver are relics for a monetary system of the future, our rulers know this but they are manipulating the price down. Both gold and silver should be much higher now. Gold and silver can be used just as 2 commodities to back a currency along with many other things along as parties agree.

I think low oil prices and a possible Greek exit from the Euro this year could be the catalyst for the dollar to crash. All the fracking companies went heavily into debt in the last oil boom in North Dakota. Also, low oil prices caused the Soviet Union to fall apart in 1990.

Yes, I'm guessing there's going to be millions dead in Europe and North America. So you might want to close your bank account, stock up on the bare essentials and find a safe place to hide.

I've heard it said the "currency" of the world is gold, oil and drugs. Drugs(weed) have been legalized in Colorado and Washington states forcing the price to go down. Oil production is at an all time high forcing the price of oil to go down. I assume the price of gold will be going up soon since the price of oil and drugs are going down.
