Another BS new age video that says that you can CONTROL your reality by CONTROLLING your thoughts. Why does everyone believe this if it doesn't work and there's no evidence for it and it defies basic logic and common sense?! What is everyone smoking?!

This makes no sense. How come you can be positive yet everything can go wrong? How come disappointment exists if your thoughts control reality? lol. How come Native American Shamans didn't use their thoughts to stop their lands from being stolen? lol. See how FALSE all this is? Why do you LIE? Don't you have a conscience?
If it was that easy then everyone would be mediating to get wealth, women, and status. But that is not reality.
Maybe when you meditate you do not need any of them.
Exactly. I was being sarcastic.

As you might know, pretty much all the popular New Age self-improvement gurus out there claim that changing your thoughts and attitude will change your life. But none of them advocate that the answer is in changing your location, like we do. We seem to be the only ones that advocate changing your location as a solution. Why is that?

I think it's because it's politically correct to blame yourself, but not to blame your society or culture. You see, if you focus on changing your thoughts, that connotates that the problem is within you. But if you focus on location as a solution, then you are blaming your society or culture, which is not politically correct. Even personal transformation gurus have to be politically correct.

In reality though, both are factors. Your thoughts do affect your health and your life, but so does your location and the people around you. The problem with these popular transformation gurus, is that they only focus on the former and not the latter.

What do you think?

Here is what I mean. See this video below by Dr. Wayne Dyer and Dr. Bruce Lipton where they talk together on stage. They are both great speakers and authors, and make a great case scientifically for why your thoughts can change your health and even alter your genes. However, they do not recognize the limitations of thoughts, nor do they explain that thoughts and attitudes are merely a factor and that you can't blame everything on them. That's where their flaw lies. But they do present a lot of fantastic groundbreaking information about how attitude affects your body and health more than you know.

Agree, much of the US is politically correct. Seattle is very much like ancient Egypt. You know, the great pyramids is a symbol of their secretive culture.
Then again, some people go all the way (cognitive dissonance/fallacy of incomplete evidence).

Eat dates.

The problem is iphones.

You definitely picked the wrong country.

Wow check this out. Tommy Tan @tommytan_li21 made a video echoing my points about why changing your location is the key to changing your life, not changing your thoughts or mindset like the self-help movement claims. He makes a good point: Changing yourself doesn't change the people and environment around you, because changing yourself is just that, you change yourself only. However, when you change your location, you DO in fact change the people and environment around you. Great key point. But the new age and self-help movement is totally oblivious to this and telling them about it is seen as taboo and offensive for some reason and turns them off.

I posted this under the audiobook version of Dr. Wayne Dyer's book "Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life" and totally disrupted the grain! lol. Why is everyone in the new age and self help movement blind and focusing on a useless solution that does NOT even work?! What do you think @kangarunner?

"Changing thoughts does NOT change your life. Changing LOCATION does. Because changing thoughts does NOT change the people and environment around you, but changing location DOES! Example: If you want a low cost of living, moving to Vietnam or Cambodia or Philippines accomplishes that for sure. But changing thoughts does NOT, it's useless! Also if I want a good dating environment where women are friendly and approachable and easy to date and approach and meet, then changing thoughts is useless and accomplishes nothing. But if I go to the Philippines or Latin America or Russia or even Mexico, I can enjoy a dating PARADISE where I can get dates everyday and women are much nicer and friendlier and easier to date! See what I mean? It's all about LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Not thoughts! Parapsychology experiments like Princeton PEAR say that thoughts only have a microscopic effect on reality, and are NOT all powerful like Wayne Dyer, Bruce Lipton, and Joe Dispenza claim falsely. Think about it! It's a no brainer!"
