I imagined I’d spend my 20s having a string of dramatic, ill-advised love affairs and generally gallivanting, before settling down about three days after my 30th birthday. And living Happily Ever After.
It also means I don’t have to resign myself to a lifetime with a second-tier man who probably wishes he was shagging someone 10 years younger anyway.
....I don’t necessarily have to resign myself to a second, or even third-tier male just because I didn’t get my arse in gear a few years ago.
