She is his number 1 girlfriend; he is 84, she is 24. Now, where are all the shouts of "cradle robber" and "sick puppy" and how come no one tells him to pick on someone his age? How come people do not tell him to be monogamous? Even the feminists are politely quiet today. Oh I get it, he is rich and famous. And he owns the Playboy magazine. Except that you know what's wrong with the Playboy lifestyle? Only 'he' can be a playboy, all others just suck air and masturbate to the photos. And if any of us try and live like that, or even be 39 and try dating a 19 year old, we get called all sorts of names the ones mentioned above being most common.

Just shows you the double standards of society and why we should not succumb to them. One set of rules for the ultra rich and glamorous and another set of rules for us, the proletarians.

Barbara Walters and other women have called Hefner a "dirty old man." Hefner has had his fair share of detractors. Who doesn't envy this man? lol. Everyone, no matter what race or background, you wish you were Hugh Hefner for one day. 44, 54, 64 and now 84, he is still the man.

I remember reading his biography, and he started out as a high-school editor selecting a woman every month to write a complementary story on her. He discovered he could get women to do whatever he wanted by complementing them and making them feel special. So now, he has tons of women who feel privileged to get his attention because he is a legend. He doesn't have to do anything special. He is similar to a pimp in that he got his power by using and organizing women's power, and the men just pay to look and fantasize. He really went far based on a few simple principles of female psychology. He was also at the right place at the right time, so was able to create a monopoly that no man has been able to duplicate since.

It's funny how being rich and famous will get you perks that most people don't get. If a regular guy aged 45 was dating a 21 year old girl, the girls parents, the guys parents and their friends would be "horrified" by the fact that he is "robbing the craddle: and she is "being taken advantage of."

If someone famous like Hugh Hefner does this, it's considered ok. A 60 year age difference is quite a lot but hey, when I am 84 I would love to be banging a hot 24 year old!

Why would he want to get married? He's not monogamous and dumps women when they are past their prime. Besides, wouldn't he be worried that his wife just wants his money and could try to murder him to inherit his empire estate? I wonder if he makes them sign a prenuptial agreement.

You can live this kind of lifestyle in South East Asia and you will have to pay a $6000 a year stipend to each girl and you can have the same thing. As far as it being prostitution, well, I kind of see a prostitute as someone that goes with one customer after another. These girls belong to Hef; they are his, well, "wives" as it were. It is not exactly prostitution. And your wife will cost you money irregardless. Why pay it to a fat 50 year old?

The man who almost singlehandedly made porn culture mainstream. Who glorified an anti-woman, hedonistic lifestyle devoid of social responsbility. Hefner makes me sick.

Lad, there's a fuzzy line but what HH does is a form of P4P, no ifs and or buts IMO. There's a niche of women who specialize in snagging whales like him. They're biz model comes from P4P playbook. Think Anna Nicole Smith.

Ever wonder why most rich and famous men in America still marry gals within more reasonable age gap bounds (often 10-15 yrs., sometimes 15-20 years, seldom 20-25 years, rarely 26 years and above). Even Donald Trump who is very vain and into the world's most beautiful women chose a 35 year old to be his wife 5 years ago, just a 24 year age gap for his 3rd wife (pretty much the half + 7 rule of thumb). Sure he could have easily found a stunning 18 year old blond. But he's smart enough to realize that such a woman would almost certainly not connect with him romantically and be with him 100% for money. Sure, you can name a handful of rich and/or famous American men who are with gals old enough to be their grand daughters. But its very rare and usually these guys get no real love from their 'wives'.

Also, keep in mind, in HH's case, its part of his biz model and personal image/ego to always be around the youngest most beautiful women. He's one of a kind in that regard.

In Phils, you may be able to self-style yourself into some sort of playboy. But you won't get gorgeous white beauties hand-picked to your personal specs. Yes, impoverished SE Asian girls are a lot cheaper than any white girls on the planet. But IMO, its very difficult to find a hot one. If you go to Boracay, the really cute or hot girls are from more privileged backgrounds IMO.

If you come to Manila's Quezon City, I can show you some Asian entertainment complexes for Japanese businessmen where you can get gorgeous hot white Asian women who look like models and porn stars. They are hot beyond words.

Also, if you go to Makati, Mr S can show you around the bars on Burgos St. You'll see how many tall model looking girls there are in those places. They will blow your breath away.

I think in fact that there is some truth to what you say, but certainly not impossible. Were I single it would probably take me about a month
of sorting to do it, but that is nothing compared to the USA, where it would be impossible for a 50 year old male to do it at all. I would go up to Cagayan de Oro or Cebu and not work very hard at it- just be there. My wife is 27 and quite attractive, yet she comes from a poor but stable background. Where she in the USA she would get a lot of attention. I can probably think of a dozen girls I know around my usual haunts in Misamis Oriental around CDO that would be considered HOT by any standard. None of them come from purely destitute families except one, but all of them would be considered to have poor families.

In the Philippines, guys tend to go onto a frenzy and think of what they will "do" or who they will "find". It is a lot better to simply be a good observer- to pay attention, and it won't be that hard.

...there are many, many dating services and social network circles in the US set up to introduce poor-er but good looking girls to wealthy old men. Hef gets attention because of who he is and the extreme age gap.

In my neighborhood, our local old/rich playboy celebrity is Donald Bren (age 78 ), owner of the Irvine Company with net worth of $12 billion. Yes he's even more loaded than Hef, Mr. Bren is #16 on Forbe's list of wealthy men in the US. The guy is 78, has 7 "known" children with various women, the youngest child is only 7 or 8 years old (do the math).

Hefner has an entire organization and infrastructure set up to attract exactly the body type he is interested in. He sits back, views the pictures, and selects who he wants. In addition to the money, more importantly, he has fame and celebrity, which attracts women. In contrast, the typical billionaire ends up marrying his favorite stripper. It's not nearly the same thing.
