Yes that's true. If you are a New Age guru or self improvement guru, you always have to pretend to be positive and feeling great and in a good mood 24/7. You can never look sad or down or be having a bad day. Never. If you do, then you lose credibility and your fans will lose faith in you. It must be a tough pressure to be that way. I could never be that fake everyday. Even someone in our movement like Mark Davis probably has this pressure. He has presented an image on his videos and websites as Mr. Positive and Mr. Motivational Guru of international dating. So he has to keep it up. Moreover, he always has to show that his marriage to his wife is always great 24/7. If he ever became negative about anything, or had any marital problems, then his clients would lose faith in him. So he can't afford to and must present a constant image of success and happiness, in love and life.
Fortunately I don't have that kind of image. I just tell the truth, whether it's positive or negative, and try to keep it balanced. I probably attract less people that way, but everyone I attract will be real and genuine too.
