Popular High School teens tend to be less successful in life

It turns out Poindexter gets the last laugh at the end in this country (at least financially, not sure about female wise). Popular American teens who enjoyed High School status for thuggish, criminal, bullylike behavior have trouble adopting to society after the age off 22. They therefore try harder to maintain their former popularity status by doing more extreme behaviors (drug use, alcoholism, crimes, etc).

Most of the popular High School kids that I went to school with are either in jail, dead or coke addicts. Just a small few turned out to be successful productive members of society.

I do feel bad for some of these popular young male teens who behave this way because the women reward them with p***y in the short run (not knowing that jail or drug addiction is around the corner). If we shifted our values in American society and start rewarding people for how kind and social they are to others (among educational achievements) a lot of this chaos could change. However, we do have the largest jail population in the world and the only for profit jail system in the world. If they want to keep the $$$$$ rolling it would make sense to encourage the thug life amongst our youth and encourage them to commit crimes.

Hmm. Most of the popular kids who graduated from high schools in my area are….. successful and popular even today. Being good looking, funny and socially competent tends to pay dividends even after age 22.

Most of the popular and "cool" people in high school wind up being complete losers later in life. The prom queen from high school winds up being fat and divorced by age 30. The prom king ends up failing out of college and working minimum wage jobs.

Karma is a bitch! :D

The few popular kids that I knew in High School that succeeded later on in life tended to work commission/business type jobs where their outgoing personalities enabled them to succeed and make some decent money. However, most of these people were pretty respectful and friendly to the other less popular kids in High School. The really successful people who became the doctors, lawyers, politicians, and scientists were mostly the unpopular nerds who always focused on the books and rarely ever partied.

The majority of popular kids (who were the gangsters, defied authority, bullied, always bragging and treating other people like shit) are the ones who ended up alcoholics, drug addicts, went to jail or ended up with a ton of kids working minimum wage jobs. Even in America there still has to be a small level of respect to others and respect to authority in order to succeed
