I phoned Ron Paul around 1985 and asked him for a job. He was a little-known Congressman, and I was a political fundraiser with a big-name organization at the time, so it wasn't that far-fetched.

We spoke, but he never got back to me. {sigh}

With me on his staff, he might have done just a hair better than he did...

...but more important, I would have had a BLAST.

Oh well...
