The owner of this site just needs a really good moderator to see through all this bullshit. There are ways of dealing with recurring trolls. Even after username changes and IP address refreshes, it is obvious to tell who is who.

The problem is that Winston will usually disagree with the actions of any good moderator who gets tough... and for this reason, this forum will always get about the same amount of respect as the Jerry Springer show...

I've brought this up to Winston before on this forum and in PM. He just doesn't give a f**k anymore and his attitude is pretty much live and let live and anything goes on the forum. Besides even when he did care he could barely tell the trolls from genuine posters.

It's not really worth investing much energy into this issue. Winston insists that forum traffic and revenue is higher than ever. So perhaps Jerry Springer style sells better than what the forum used to be. Or, perhaps revenue and traffic are lagging indicators and by the time they start reflecting what we're seeing, the forum will be a total mess. Either way, its Winston's pocketbook, not ours. So let him worry about it. If things get too tedious and empty, wisest thing to do is just vote with your feet. There are many other forums out there and even more interesting options in the real world. I for one sure won't be loosing any sleep if Winston wants to hand things over to the attention seekers and drama queens. Keep it in perspective.

I wish I could say that I won't let this forum go to hell, but unfortunately, it's not up to me. U gotta be careful. If u get addicted to this forum, u might end up being a keyboard jockey with no time out in the field (at least for those of us already living abroad). I would say this applies to Winston a lot of the time too. We need more reports from the field IMO, especially from the founder himself. Winston, the hotties in China are waiting for you!

Anyway I realize the issue being discussed here is trolls. Winston doesn't seem to give a f**k. But, I'm looking at it from a narrow logical left brain perspective so perhaps I'm missing the bigger picture? I've seen creative people do reckless things and end up accomplishing near miracles. So perhaps he knows what he's doing. Time will tell if he lets it go on this way.

What you guys forget is that this site has other themes as well. Everybody here is concentrated on being happier with a bride. No problem with that. On this site you can also discuss topics beyond pussies. So one might take this oppurtunity.

Oh I totally agree. It's beyond my concern now and i'm glad I quit when I did. I used to visit this forum a few times a day but it's coming close to becoming unreadable at times. I knew it would probably end up like this because I was spending way too much time policing this place. I'll always visit unless it goes under some day but the days of being a relatively insightful forum with regular contributors may be coming to an end.
