Perhaps, but if a guy works out just because he enjoys it and wants to be healthy, there's nothing wrong with that. I like lifting weights because every workout is a new chance to improve myself. I just think it's fun to get stronger.jcris7 wrote: Guys who work out to get obsessively big "to get ladies" is the biggest form of supplication, and approval-seeking pussdom ever.
Why is it ok for women to bash thin guys.

I didn't forge the body I have from 300 lbs of fat ass to being in shape just for my self, it was in part because when I do find a bride I want her to feel every bit as lucky as I do when the cloths come off, and she will be a foreign woman : D
I won't lie to you guys, I want to be in super shape so when I walk down the street holding my foreign womans hand, all the fat american women can look on in anger seeing a quality man getting exactly what he deserves, a quality foreign woman.
Nothing wrong with wanting to make your woman happy.
Besides when you see a guy walk by in perfect shape don't tell me in the back of your mind you truly think he's a moron or of little value, and sure you could trick your self in to thinking he swallowed a little pill and looked like that the next day, but if that was true everyone would take a pill.
The reason I say that is, everyone likes to make excuses why they don't measure up, when at the end of the day its because you simply didn't earn it.
But I do think women have a unrealistic idea of what a man should look/think/work like.
Wile she sits on her laptop all day eating cookies.
besides remember the reason we all don't like american women? they have a horrible outlook and selfish soul and are willing to consume yours to make them happy, so why would you get envious of duped men who would put that much effort in for american women?

Magnum,
I am going to have to disagree with you.
Not everything in life is black and white. You mean to tell me that people who have done extraordinary work or contributed something meaningful to humanity, and didn't get recognized for it, was because they didn't earn it? Your logic is flawed dude. People in life who excel, and perform to a standard that is commensurate of "earning" it, get f***ed over by political bullshit, favoritism, bias and betrayal. And the people who didn't "earn" it get rewarded. That's life. I hear countless stories in the music profession from my colleagues about people winning auditions for symphony orchestras that turned out to be awful "section" players, had shit musicianship, a tweaky personality toward their fellow section members, and pissed off the conductor because of their prima-donna ways, all while still having a TENURED salary of 100+k a year plus benefits. Don't believe me? Ask my horn teacher, who played in the LA Phil for 37 years and had to sit next to the asshole I described to you above.
I get the impression that you are making me out as if I am jealous, and bitter because I couldn't get the women I wanted in college, and that I made excuses for myself, all because I didn't measure up...didn't "earn" it. Well, I'm here to tell you, how the Rolling Stones put it best -- "you can't always get what you want". I was confident and had strong self-image in who I was then, and who I am today. I don't see the need to change for someone else. I am on my own path of growth and learning in this lifetime. I do not need the motivation of someone else to make things happen for me. I stay in shape and look good for my own self-satisfaction. No one else can do it for me - it has to come from within me. I've realized that I can only make myself happy. Attracting women as a result of staying in shape and/or getting a good fit body is a fringe benefit - not the primary motivator.
What it comes down to is that we both see life differently, and have vastly different outlooks, priorities and what is important to us. I'll leave it at that. Best of luck to you.

Good for you! However, it sounds like you are doing this in part for revenge and out of spite. That is bad juju, my friend. You shouldn't be going around with that kind of prideful attitude.magnum wrote:I won't lie to you guys, I want to be in super shape so when I walk down the street holding my foreign womans hand, all the fat american women can look on in anger seeing a quality man getting exactly what he deserves, a quality foreign woman.

Jcris, don't get me wrong, I don't know the inner workings of your mind, I don't know exactly what you went through in college or the rest of your life for that matter.
My point is, too often I see men torn down by fellow men, I can't tell you how often I've read negative things or heard negative comments about a guy simply because he was in shape, sure you simply say he's a roid headed fool who has no life, but discipline is discipline, that means something about someones character, even if they put all that time and effort in to a seemingly temporary venue.
whoever the guy is could be a complete asshole douche bag true I suppose, but I wouldn't just assume it.
I don't think you were jealous of these guys, I think you resented the success they had, but I hardly think you'd want to be one of them, yet on the flip side I hardly think you'd want the women they got the attention from.
your point about some people not getting what they earned is spot on, the reverse is true a lot of the time too, people all too often get things they didn't earn.
However I'm going to say this, being in better and better shape is only going to result in more female attention, and the ideal of being in shape differs depending on the part of the world your in, so I do believe in a way yes you earn some of the things you have in life, just like you've earned your talents.
you are correct, I shouldn't have such a bitter attitude, but you have to admit women have a special way of bringing the hate to the surface, in all honestly if i achieve my goals I'll be so blind with happiness I won't have the mental capacity to be bitter.
Don't get the wrong impression of me jcris7, I'm fond of you and your posts even if we do have a few differing outlooks!

The fact of the matter is that shitty women will usually have asinine expectations of how men should look. I don't get much flack from many women that I approach/meet about my thin body style actually. Maybe because this is because I avoid ignorant ghetto women (all American black females) to begin with. Believe it or not, non-black women are very comfortable with me in my dress, my body style (I, too, am thin as a board), my grooming, and my appearance no matter how I take on the world. It's definately all about confidence.
Last time someone gave me shit about how I look was my own mother about 2 years ago. I grew my beard long and grew braids in my hair (which generally got me compliments from everyone), but of course my mother wanted me to look like this fake ass, white knight "Mr. Right" (because shitty women only expect all men to mangina down and look like her unrealistic mate). My mother told me some hurtful, rediculous lies like "You look like a thug", "White people think you're going to rob them" and other bullshit you can expect shit-for-brains black women to spout out due to their ever-negative experiences and complete loathing of everyone who isn't a black woman. I was shocked that words intended to cut deep were from a mother to her own son. I kept my beard and hair long, and it wasn't until I landed a job in food service that I shaved it all off (requirement). Today I'm looking the way I wanna look (confidence), and you know what? - women LOVE it! My hair is never brushed, my beard is big, I haven't showered in days, but dammit I put some good cologne in the areas that count, hit the street early in the morning, move with a posture that says "Entrepreneur on a mission", and I'm the brightest fuckin' star this side of gloomy Chicagoland suburbia! Long story short, I'm skin and bones, but I'll approach ANY (reasonable) size woman. I'm black, but I'm comfortable and well-established that only non-black women are worth my charms and make me a happy man. I don't think I've showered or shaved in 2012 yet, but I got phone numbers from five different women in their early twenties this week.
HAVE. f***ing. CONFIDENCE.

WTF. LOL hahahahaa that's kind of true. The scruffier I am, the longer I go without brushing my teeth, the more numbers I get. AW are f***ing despicable for being nasty to like nasty shit like that. Every man should put to use the testosterone the lord gave him - to not do so, is the height of sadness, a wasted life.
You should sculpt your body into statuesque proportions , mold it into body women lust for and men envy.
Don't even get me started on the health and psychological benefits.
I've been weight lifting for 8 years, and kickboxing for 1. Some dude at the gym yesterday commented on my chest and how it got so large.

Who says every man should do anything? "Putting testosterone" somewhere is another social brainwashing. While I do agree that regular exercise is healthy, I don't agree with how much exercise is worshiped in America. To me, there is just nothing better to do in America besides hitting a gym.
I work out only a few times per month now and I am happy with myself. Yes, I don't like my belly, but I am fine living with it. Some girls don't like my belly? Should I start listing her flaws? Russian girls told me many times that they actually like men with a belly, so I am totally fine looking for them. I used to be crazy with self-improvement and workouts, but now I think very different. If I would have lived abroad, workouts would lose its value tremendously for me. All that time wasted in a gym, when I could just stroll a large city in FSU and pickup girls?

Drink a lot of water and stay away from consuming red meats of all types is pretty trivial to do. If you haven't done so already, make poultry and seafood the staple of your contemporary diet.have2fly wrote:Who says every man should do anything? Feminists constantly go on about women 'having to be skinny' because the media say so. I never really hear that though, if anything the media is always banging on about the dangers of anorexia etc and how skinny is ugly and undesirable. They never stop to think that maybe this is actually offensive to people who are naturally skinny.
From the media you could say there is pressure on men to have a certain build as well. I've always noticed on American TV and films the men are normally always big and well defined. It seems to be the norm. The ones who aren't are usually stereotyped as some kind of 'geek' or something. Maybe because it's on TV so much some women expect it, because they think that's what a 'proper man' is? Maybe not realising how difficult it can be to get a physique like that. Like someone else mentioned, it is more easy to simply lose weight, than to build yourself up so you are big and defined as well. It takes a load of self discipline.
