The deeper philosophical question here is not whether women have lost the sense of having a relationship with the male gender but whether we, as human beings, have lost the desire - indeed the reason - to reach out to our fellow human beings for some genuine, meaningful interactions.
We are all becoming tiny islands in an ocean of solitude and apathy, all warring against each other for our very own ring of sea water, in which we will eventually drown.

No, women are obsolete as men arenolonger marrying them in Japan and this will spread. Have fun working to pay your rent girls - that's all life holds for 40+ women....

The underlying presumption is that you can do to or say whatever you like about men (and get paid for it), they aren't going anywhere and they aren't going to let the machinery of society fall into disrepair or let "The Other" come over the hill and wreak havoc. In the West, it's been a safe bet for as long as anyone can remember.
Next time there's a blizzard in your area, go see who's shoveling driveways, driving snow plows, pulling cars out of ditches, and clearing downed tree limbs a/o power lines.
Like an abused but always loyal dog, men may yelp when kicked, but they still defend, rescue, and do heavy work when needed.
