My Facebook account was disabled by mistake. Facebook said that they believe that I was impersonating myself and not the real "Winston Wu". WTF? Maybe one of our enemies hacked my account.

After I verified my identity on the support page by sending them photos of my ID and got my account reinstated, our HA Facebook group suddenly disappeared! Here is the URL to it.

I tried to PM Mark DY on FB but it said that his account was removed too and awaiting verification. WTF? If so, I told you all that we should make it a closed group, not an open one, to protect everyone.

Maybe my nasty comments about Obama the other day triggered The Powers That Be to hack my Facebook account and take down our FB group? Maybe they are sending us a warning?

Update:

I have messaged other members of our group on FB and it turns out that only me and Mark DY were kicked off FB. Probably because we were admins of the HA FB group. What this means is that someone probably hacked into our group by becoming a member of it and then used some kind of hacking software, program or script, to delete the group and get the admins of the group banned. Or they could have hacked into our accounts and then used our accounts to close the group, thus triggering a red flag to Facebook. It could have been anyone, since we had over a thousand members, most of whom were unknown.

I will try to get my FB account back tomorrow.

However, I'm still waiting for a response from FB support to see if they can get our original group back. I'll keep you all updated.

Maybe from now on, we should not just approve anyone who requests to join the group. Maybe we should check the profiles of those who ask to join and see if any of them look shady. Matt has made the new group a closed one by the way.

Its due to this,..Many people in Alternative News, followers of Conspiracy, Non Lame stream got kicked out by FB this week.

Facebook clamps down on fake news stories

Facebook Inc said on Tuesday it has taken steps to clamp down on "hoaxes" and fake news stories that can spread like wildfire on its 1.35-billion member online social network.

The company said it had introduced an option to allow Facebook users to flag a story as "purposefully fake or deceitful news" to reduce the distribution of news stories reported as hoaxes.

Facebook said it will not remove fake news stories from its website. Instead, the company's algorithm, which determines how widely user posts are distributed, will take into account hoax reports.

"A post with a link to an article that many people have reported as a hoax or chose to delete will get reduced distribution in the News Feed," Facebook explained.

It just means....If you do not follow the Official Line aka being a sheep...You won't be allowed in Facebook...Possibly some troll flagged you.

Groups about Men's Rights, looking for a foreign wife, etc. are often a target by feminists, they are good organized, dispersed in all USA and encourage each other to click on 'report' claiming improper content, hate speech, etc. - After a certain number of complaints are received from various readers, the account will be made automatically invisible.

It takes a while to bring it back, by writing to the administrators/moderators of Facebook and similar websites, and they will have to check it manually and bring it back again on line. This can take 1 or 2 weeks.

Starchild, that refers to fake news stories, not whole groups. It would have removed some posts in our group, not the group itself.

Yohan, but Facebook disabled my account thinking that someone was impersonating me. They asked for my ID's to get it back. I got it back the next day after sending them photos of my ID. If Facebook removed our group for hate speech or complaints, why would it give me that excuse? It doesn't add up. Why didn't they just remove the group and tell me that it violated community standards? Why did they say that someone impersonated me on my account? This doesn't add up.

It seems more like someone hacked our group and got the admins - me and MarkDY - disabled by somehow hacking into our accounts.

What can we do to prevent this group from getting hacked again? I don't get something though. Western women and feminists are not usually good with computers, so they would not make good hackers. So who did it? Do feminists employ hackers? If so, why would male hackers help them? People who are good with computers are not heavily into liberalism or feminism. So any explanation?

Also, every time I contact FB support about the disappearance of our group, they keep sending me an automated form letter saying that the case has been resolved, or that I am using the form for disabled accounts yet my account is active so my case no longer applies. WTF? This automatic form letter is IRRELEVANT to the situation of our missing group, yet that's all they keep sending me. WTF?
