Harvard's first black president resigns

She only lasted 6 months. She's the shortest serving president in Harvard's 387 year history. She resigned over charges of plagiarism and mishandling of anti-semitism on campus. A lot of her published works had passages of text copied from other sources which she presented as her own writing.

A student could be suspended or expelled for such conduct, but she's allowed to resume teaching African American studies at Harvard after her resignation.
