Topix forums shut down because America is rapidly becoming a sock puppet of North Korea.

Anyone who has read the book "Escape from Camp 14" would understand that North Korea is the least free country on Earth. North Korea is actually more supermax prison than country, ruled by an iron-fist totalitarian dictatorship. In North Korea, simply saying that Kim Il-Sung, Kim Jong-Il, and Kim Jong-Un have performed poorly in running/leading the country and/or that North Korea is not a good country to live in will get a person, along with three full generations of the person's family, imprisoned in North Korea's horrible, filthy gulags and even publicly executed. Even leaving North Korea is grounds for public execution. There is zero freedom of speech in North Korea.

The Topix forums were completely opposite of North Korea, and certainly totally unlike the city-data forum which operates from North Korea, specifically Pyongyang. Being based in the United States, the Topix forums had freedom of speech as shown by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. Hence, on Topix, anyone can report discrimination occurring, the rules and regulations of a facility, and everything else.

Unfortunately, the Topix forums have sailed into the sunset on December 20th, 2018. The reason; America is not only LESS FREE than Mexico, the United States of America is fast becoming a sock puppet of North Korea! America is already rushing rapidly straight towards Sharia law and Islam. Next after that is the Juche philosophy and the Kim Il-Sung dynasty. America may even become worse than North Korea as America is likely to make every single rule infraction, including even a dress code violation at a nightclub, punishable by immediate and automatic public execution without trial. The suspect and 3 generations of the suspect's extended family. Soon, America will require everyone to be absolutely perfect in following all laws, rules, and regulations. And America will expect all men to know off hand that every single nightlife facility requires them to wear an expensive tuxedo with expensive, classy pants, a tie, and classy shoes; America will start publicly executing every man that goes out in public not looking like he can take a woman to Paris the very next day.

But by then, it won't matter; bars, nightclubs, restaurants, beaches, amusement parks, all tourist attractions, water parks, public swimming pools; everything that caters to any kind of fun or social atmosphere will all be a thing of the distant past, and everything in America will be strictly business-only as enforced by the FBI, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Military, the U.S. Marshals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. There will be no more tourism in America, either; America will be completely closed off as a hermit country, all airports, cruise ports, and train/bus terminals demolished and/or replaced with residential and business areas, and all travel within the country criminalized; one would be shot dead by the military for crossing a county border.
