It was only a few short years ago they were claiming/complaining China was keeping its currency "artificially high".

Simple price correction. You see, the stock market was overvalued. Today's stock prices are so extreme that a drop of 40%-50% from the recent high would not be a surprise. Indeed, it would take a drop of this magnitude just to get back to average long-term valuation levels, let alone cheap. The fed should go ahead with their rate increase to at least slow down or stop the stock buy backs, mergers, and acquisition games that are hurting workers everywhere. 8)
