Using the term black in regular everyday speak does not mean that I do not know the difference between mixed ethnicity and the US skin color system of categorization. It we want to be technical, Native Americans or American Indians should never be called that, but just simply Natives, because they were here before there ever was an America, but then only a few people will know what you are talking about if you always spoke that way.
