When you consider the challenges presented in relating to an American woman I believe this is the biggest, particularly among the "educated" classes. Often as not, you aren't talking to her, you're talking to Prozac, as the title of a '90s book put it. They are drugged to a faretheewell. It screws up their hormones and sex drive, as well as their heads. Not to mention their souls.
