Actually I take that back, Monsanto is Mon-Santo, M=13 and S =19, 13=19 equals 32, which stands for 32nd degree Mason.

It's not possible, there is a direct mathematical 50/50 ratio on cards, therefore it's not possible for the dealer to have an advantage, but yet they do, and that's the trick, that's the con, that's where they have you focusing on the wrong thing in the wrong way, so that they now have an advantage without you even realizing it, you think you are doing the right thing because of what they told you from the beginning, but what you didn't realize was is that is what gives them an advantage now, otherwise they wouldn't have one.

The advantage the dealer has is that you have to play your hand first, and if you bust, he doesn't have to play his hand because it is an automatic win for him. So you could have 4 possible scenerios:

1. Neither of you bust, in which case you have a 50/50 chance of winning (if you play by the same rule as the dealer).
2. The dealer busts, and you don't. So you win.
3. You bust, but the dealer wouldn't have if he he played his hand anyway. You lose.
4. Both of you bust, so neither one wins.

The problem is that scenerio 4 can never happen because he never plays his hand out if you bust. And the second half of scenario 3 can't happen either for the same reason. Scenario 3 and 4 are combined together since the game stops as soon as you bust. As such he actually wins on scenario 3, 4, and 50% of the time on 1. You win only on 2 and 50% of 1. Because he has more scenarios where he wins, he gets better odds.

A truly fair 50/50 game would require that the dealer play his hand out even if you bust first, and if both of you bust, neither one wins. This is the key to why he has a slight advantage.

So the bottom line is that the advantage of the dealer is that you have to play first, and he doesn't have to finish his hand you bust first.
