Apparently Panama has now become as easy to emigrate to as Uruguay or Paraguay or Guatemala:

Apparently you no longer need $80,000 in the bank, just "mid four figures" or else (like Mexico) evidence (via bank statements) of regular income.

Of course Mexico is still the easiest -- no FBI report required.
