Stop assuming and stop looking down on us. As for George Green, he's a shill and profiteer. Yes I actually do research on people I listen to and checked him out in 2008. I watched a few of StormCloudsGathering's clips about a year ago. I liked his approach and remember he brought over a French wife.. it's good to hear that he wised up and moved. No point in wasting an opportunity to gain EU citizenship.

This video shows a little about what to expect when the gas stops flowing and the trucks stop rolling and we're thrown into a food shortage situation.

Russians aren't lazy people. Americans of today are far more lazy than Eastern Europeans. I'd like to see your average American fatass survive one month in Russia. Guess what? If you're in the city you have to walk or take public transport everywhere, you don't get to just hop into your SUV and arrive in a giant parking lot 10 minutes later. Oh the horror! And if you're in the countryside, you have to fetch your own water. There aren't suburbs full of pill heads like in North America.

Just because Americans work the longest hours in the western world on average doesn't mean they are hard workers. I've spent my life in this Idiocracy and I won't have anyone here calling OTHER nationalities lazy. I've actually been discriminated against in past jobs because I wasn't as lethargic and indifferent as everyone else. The only reason Americans work so much is because they think they have to have the latest unnecessary crap that they see advertised. Most Americans live their entire lives half-assed and dream of the day they can retire. I highly doubt Russians are walking around wishing they were on a pension. Most people there don't even make it to retirement age. America is home to A LOT of deadbeats who want nothing more than to win the lottery or to gain disability so they can sit on their front porch all day smoking pot. That's the truth. It's one of the biggest reasons I want leave this country. I'm tired of being around people with a loser mentality.

There are very few normal, mentally stable people here. You have two extremes, the workaholic who will chop off his dick if his boss asks him to but won't take 10 minutes out of his day to visit his parents. Or the complacent dead-beat who views anyone displaying even a hint of initiative as a sucker. The workaholic isn't a hard worker either, just brainwashed and greedy. When these types get laid off they'd rather stay unemployed for a few years than take a job "below" them. Both of these archetypes will receive a rude awakening in the coming years as they discover their "skills" and life philosophies are not worth much in the real world.

As for Russians, they're some of the least lazy people on the planet. Cultures from cold climates (Scandinavia, Canadian, British, China/Japan/Korea, etc) are hard working. Cultures from warm climates are generally LAZY AS f**k! I don't know where you get your information from. Have you been to Western Europe? Mediterranean countries? South American countries? Some people are so lucky in that they can be lazy and still economically successful. I'm jealous of them and you should be to. I don't mean the MILLIONS of "Europeans" who live off the state, and still resent it because there aren't enough mosques, but the millions of Europeans who have good jobs and still have time to sit around at cafes and take 5 vacations a year. They live to enjoy life. That's not lazy, that's smart.

These lazy Russians are a lot more prepared for the future than you are.

I'm always hearing Americans calling Europeans lazy. Those lazy French.. blah blah blah. Sorry, I'm not buying it. Calling someone lazy is not a valid insult. When they passed the 35-hour work week in France the cretins here were furious. What an outrage, people having time to actually raise their kids. We should have been furious we don't have the same deal. I've even heard "Those lazy Mexicans". Give me a break. Those lazy Finns spend their evenings reading novels while the hard working Americans plop down on the sofa and watch football.

Well, I don't believe everything in the media either and I don't believe everything in the media is a lie, but it usually is. Its highly irritating that George Green is trying to profit from the coming economic collapse but some of what he's saying is true.

The point I'm trying to make is, this technology fueled gravy train we've been riding on is about to derail and there will be little warning when it happens. Most people, don't have time to worry about the collapse of civilization because there just too busy, by the time you get home from work, eat dinner, mow the lawn and ride the old lady its time to go to bed. If your crisis management plan includes preparing at the last minute your going to be sorry, the time to prepare is now.

However, not everything about the coming economic collapse will be negative either, I'll be happy to see my sisters jaw drop when her $80,000/year job is reduced to a mere trickle. Also, the arrogance that has defined western women in general will be gone and they'll start marrying guys for food in the near future and not for money.
