This is how things are supposed to work. You get a family patriarch who does great things and amasses a fortune, but then the heirs are irresponsible spendthrifts and lose all the money. This seems not to happen now and in fact you have garbage people like Elon Musk and Kill Gates getting filthy rich for nothing.
