Newlife you really talked out of your *ss again. Why mislead the dude with your black and white stuff just to get your frustrations out?

Matt, things really depend on many factors, it's not easy to make blanket statements. My opinion is that in the states looks vs character are about 80/20, while in more favorable places it's 20/80. I say favorable since they cut you a break on the looks and see if you are corteous/smart/etc, without equating that to "nice" or "loser".

But even if looks are important (always are but to varying degrees like i say) supply and demand may favor you in certain locations, if the dudes in general aren't as good looking you'll see yourself up a notch or two (no pun intended).

Sorry I know I keep jerking off to this, but in my week in china i felt like a celebrity as i was 'hot' in their eyes. Yes some of them care about looks, but so what? if it happens to favor YOU?

Right now here in Manizales (col) they do check me out but you also have to prove you're the character "type" favored here; that is, if you can't dance well you're a f*king loser (it happened to me last night). But you see many guys that wouldn't be given the time of day in the states, that dance well and thus bang hotties left and right.

Like i said there's a lot of factors and every place is different. Heck i'm starting to understand it's not even a country to country thing but city to city.

Well of course man but if we take that to absurdum you could say you'll never get any woman to "honestly" be into you because brad pitt is somewhere roaming the world. Also if an asteroid was gonna hit the earth most people would kill you to save themselves, and so on but you can't just decide not to do interact with anyone or do business because of that.
Personally, I like *ss too much to just sit idle and don't give too much importance to a woman liking me fully "honestly", that's kind of a pointless concept i think but then again maybe because i haven't experienced it.

But unlike the other posters here im not looking for a middle class or self sufficient women. i want a simple woman who has a great attitude and personality. so its ok if she is poor. Im not sure though you want some uncivilized squatter cause they aren't intelligent and hard to converse with though but im gonna avoid career or education types like many do. Yeah I agree women always want something and us guys want something. but men and women are capable of true love too. The problem is when a woman only cares about your wallet and nothing else. actually my last gf wasn't that bad she was like a puppy dog but i dont know other than massaging and sometimes her being sweet she really wasn't my type for a variety of reasons and we had lots of fights and the sexual chemistry was off. oh well. I think i partially got spoiled by the bar girl.

I agree there are some real uglies dating hot women so it gives me hope. but just think when im even older it will just get that much harder to get a hot woman. at least those guys have time and culture and youth on their side. its hard when your just a "tourist" and can't stay indefinitely (or finances or other issues limit that).

Yes, go to the Philippines. Some Filipinas will see you as attractive by the virtue of being white, since they think all white guys are attractive, especially if you go to places where you are the only white guy. Physical attractiveness can be somewhat culturally specific. I don't even think people consider me as attractive in America but Asian girls here think I am hot because I look like those slender guys on Korean drama, which American women consider to be girly and "sissy". I'd say it's worth a try just to see what kind of response you get, I meant, it can't get much worse, right?
