The juxtaposition of Russia singing an American song of patriotism has irony that I could not ignore given the Neo-Marxist state of the country today.....

I feel obliged to point out that I have posted this song before. But it is interesting - did the Southerners feel the War of Independence was wrong?

I looked up the song and found another version that I liked better, so I posted it here.
But it is interesting - did the Southerners feel the War of Independence was wrong?
I think this was more an emotional expression against everything associated with the Union than it was an intellectual position.
