Send away a 9 for a 6 or 7 on Bachelorette

I've seen video of both of the girls who were competing to be the Bachelorette. The one who lost seems to me to be the more 'wholesome' type, even if she is a bit emotional. I think she's a lot prettier than the one who won. That's my opinion anyway.

Is it just me or is the loser here that the men sent away really pretty, and the one they kept just mildly attractive? Apparently, a house full of men chose the one I didn't think was as pretty. I'm wondering if my opinions are so different from the norm.
