Again maybe someone got this already.. but it may be the one that best epitomizes how I feel when I'm ready to travel:

a-ha has some very clever social commentary in their lyrics and write some very beautiful and/or catchy songs. They retired again in 2010.

"take a moment if you dare
catch yourself a breath of air
there's another life out there
and you should try it"

More Michael Franks:

Michael Franks' ode to American Women:

"Your brand of kindness smarts, you call me when I'm on the charts" Brilliant!

China Crisis still has concerts in the Philippines:

Here is their take on the rat race:

"Everyday the same
expression on my face
me, myself I blame
this feeling out of place
on endless repetition
never ending rain
ending in depression
dissatisfied again"

Supposedly based on a true story:

Lyrics:
Tengo dos amores nuevos
Se los voy a presentar
Ella vive en nueva york
Y yo aquí en valledupar

Un día me dijo, good morning
Pero yo no le entendía
Hello.. How are you

Me dice tu musica si me encanta

Hu huh huh…
