Most people have never heard the original lyrics to this rousing tune,
This playlist should include

(1) the original lyrics that dare to mention Harlem and feature actual Negroes. Who knew Negroes could tap-dance?? Who knew Whites used to go to Negro neighborhoods for a nice evening out? But -- it seems that they did.

(2) The sanitized but spectacular Fred Astaire remake. (If I were gay, I would be Fred.)

(3) Something by "Flashmob Moscow". I have no idea, will watch it.

(4) The version by Taco ( a member here on HA), in a haunting voice remniscent of "Phantom of the Opera".

(5) and (6) I have no idea, will have to listen.
