Correct. It is funny that idiots prefer to get their medical advice from viral social media posts instead of from science. That will eventually catch up with the idiots as it should in a Darwinist kind of way.
You have to take this Corona-Virus very seriously, this is not a hoax, but a strong flu-like infection which might cause pneumonia and any other life-threatening illness.
The point is as we say here in Japan and in South Korea...'better than nothing' 'do something about it'
Masks - use them, better than nothing
Eye protection - if you work in a clinic or other place like airports, where you might face infected people, use them, better than nothing
We all have National Health insurance - if you don't feel well use it quickly, contact medical doctors, follow their advice, better than nothing
Separation between customer and cashier in supermarkets by plexi-glas - use them, better than nothing
Washing your hands frequently with alcohol or similar fluids - do it, better than nothing
Clean tables and chairs in restaurants with virus-killing fluids - do it, better than nothing...
Keep restrooms very clean, we have washlets almost everywhere and offer additional cleaning fluids - use them, better than nothing...
etc. etc.
This list is by far not complete.
If you and all others next to you follow ALL of these rules, the possibility of being infected is getting clearly smaller - it does not mean that you will never be infected - but if you compare countries which citizens follow these rules with countries which citizens reject them you see clearly the difference.
In my province, a rural area, where I am living in Japan, locals are acting very disciplined, but there are no restrictions, schools are open, shopping malls are open, you can go out to everywhere etc. There are 2 million people, infected totally 194, recovered 162, deaths 1.
Compare that with any similar region worldwide, somewhere else for example
Slovenia in Europe - quite rural - population 2 million people, infected 1,520, deaths 109
