Just watching Le Tour De France, and they have their own testing. A reporter just said that there are many false positives. How do they know? They test negative, negative and negative, and then positive, then test again and test negative.
A test for a virus is just a generic DNA test that could include anything, and positivity is just a matter of how diluted the sample is and chance.
